Special Containment Procedure:
SCP-XXXX must be contained in a chamber 2mx2mx4m, layed on a pedestal situated in the centre and illuminated with a red light for preservation. Other type of lights are prohibited. To access to this SCP is sufficient to have a Level 2 Clearance.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a Polaroid Photograph 14x6cm marked with the phrase:Touch to try
The phrase is written with a color red ink. After various test researchers has declared that the phrase was written with a ███ brand, alcoholic special pen. The company itself is not important but after several attempts to cancel the phrase, the foundation gave up because the impossibility to remove it. The photograph contain an acrylic painting that varies in three different scenario, figuring: a beach, a factory or a haunted house. The scenarios changes every 2/3 hours. Whoever touches directly the sheet will vanish somewhere within 55 kms radius. Usually they will appear at resorts, factories or haunted villas.
researchers aren't able to track the personnel position, but days later all personnel that has touched the portrait has returned in the chamber. The foundation personnel thinks that whoever touches it, will be teleported in the scenario that in that moment was figured in the painting, but when times expires they are teleported back for unknown reason. Researchers have estimated that the average time untill the arrival at the chamber is about 72 hours.
On ██/██/████, a personnel Class D designation 9119 did not returned back into the chamber after the 72 hours. After 3 months D-9119 was found dead inside the old factory denomination St.████ at 10km from the site.
The exposure to the natural light or a high brightness light can damage the sheet. the Personnel has found that the light should be under less than 20/25 lux. Every attempt to send a gps tracking module with a personnel D has failed. Failure must be addebitate to the fact that SCP-XXXX creates an EMP field, which disable the electronic device.
After ██ experiments the portrait started to deteriorate, being scratched and burnt without any reason. Scientists have estimated that another attempt of teleportation can disintegrate the sheet.
Addendum 1. SCP-XXXX
SCP-XXXX successfully passed by Euclid to Safe class by the revision of the recent reports. Dr. ████
has confirmed that every Class D that have participated the past experiment (exception for 9119) haven't showed any damage or collateral effect by SCP-XXXX.
Due SCP-XXXX deterioration, scratches and burnt parts, all experiments are suspended, until when scientists will not find a way to restore it to his original status.
To access the chamber a Level 4 Clearance is required as the proper equipment to manage SCP-XXXX.
