Special Containment Procedures: The entity is to be kept in a minimum of 4m X 4m X 4m containment area, for it to be able enough to fly around the area sufficiently. The entity is to be well hydrated at all times. A minimum of one subject of any kind must be having direct eye contact at all times, whether it is within the container or through a transparent cover.
A team of three must be station outside the door of the confinement area, for most of the day. Each week, there will be a new team that will be stationed for item SCP-1143-A7. One of the entrusted personnel must keep eye on the entity, and the other two may enter the confined area (if needed) for tasks such as, interviewing, maintenance of room, etc, and may do whatever is deemed "useful" for further research on this entity. Each personnel will change the roles every 4 hours.
Description: Item SCP-1143-A7 is an entity which appears to be a human oculus, which has a diameter of 1m. The entity is equipped with two wings that are similar to the wings equipped on the species of the Chiroptera order. The entity has a blue-coloured iris and has many blood vessels under the Sclera, some of which are visible.
After an eye examination on ██/█/20██, the results show that the entity has a normal pressure within the Oculus, it has 20/20 vision, and it does not have any problems related with the retina or showing signs of being colourblind. This specimen is very healthy and shows no symptoms of any diseases, known as of now.
This entity was found near The Great Lakes, specifically near Lake ████. The USA and the Canadian government found a colony of these entities in a cave named SCP-1143-A. There were approximately 25 entities or such, but only SCP-1143-A7 could be brought to Site-██.
If item SCP-1143-A7 is not being observed, the latest subject to make eye contact with it may be taken over by the item, like "mind control". This control over the entity will last between four and eighteen hours, however, this is not guaranteed, as item SCP-1143-A7 can choose whether to take control or not. Signs from item SCP-1143-A7 when taking control over an entity, the blood vessels will become bloodshot and it will start to fly around the confinement area in random motions. They will also be able to take over the host's body and manipulate it, doing whatever it wants to do with it. This can work with SCP personnel and it can also be possible with other sentient SCPs (all though, it has not been confirmed yet.) The subject that has been controlled must be put in confinement, during the control, and must be sent to psychological therapy right after the item gets relieved of its abnormal symptoms and the control stops.
Item SCP-1143-A7 is normally a docile creature, it is sentient and is able to speak and understand 4 languages, despite not having a mouth or ear(s). However, there are a few things that need to be taken care of. Whomever the interviewer is, they must not show these hand-gestures: [REDACTED] Reason: Some people are imbeciles, and do not understand the severity of what it will cause them.
