Item #: SCP-XXXX "Our Emotions"
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a secured room with no windows and reinforced entrances/exits as well as an incendiary system for purging the room after testing. SCP-XXXX is to be kept secured inside of a locked box and should only be taken out during testing. Any persons who will be coming into contact with SCP-XXXX are required to attend a session of psychological therapy before and after interacting with SCP-XXXX. After testing all persons inside SCP-XXXX's containment room will be made to leave unless dead, where in the activation of the incendiary systems will occur to remove any instances of SCP-XXX-2.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a spiral bound sketch book with the words "Show us how you feel" written on the front. SCP-XXXX appears to have 100 sheets of paper but tests have shown no decrease in the amount of paper sheets after use. It appears that SCP-XXXX has an unknown number of paper sheets and any marks made on said sheets seem to vanish upon closing SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX Seems to emit a form of compulsion to draw the personification of ones emotions and this compulsion doesn't end until the test subject has completed this task. However, upon drawing the personification of the emotions one is feeling in that moment, the rooms temperature changes depending on the category of the emotion drawn. Warm for positive emotions and cold for negative emotions. As this drop in temperature occurs the image draw will begin to take form within 5ft of SCP-XXXX. This is known as SCP-XXXX-2 and its behavior and appearance is determined by the emotion drawn as well as how it was drawn. Other factors include what the person was thinking about when designing SCP-XXXX-2.
Once SCP-XXXX-2 has manifested the compulsion effects of SCP-XXXX end and the test subject is free to do what they wish. Depending on the emotion drawn SCP-XXXX-2 may attempt to harm the test subject or comfort them. Some incidents of extreme emotions have resulted in a containment breech that caused the deaths of a number of staff members, details on this event are listed in Test Log-8.
SCP-XXXX is currently used as a means of offering therapeutic services to certain D-Class personal as well as other staff members so long as they engage in the required session of psychological therapy. This is to prevent any more incidents.
Test Log-8
Dr.Snow: So D-25403, when you enter the containment room you will feel compelled to draw whatever emotions you're feeling as some form of creature, person, or animal. Upon doing this SCP-XXXX-2 will materialize inside the cell and interact with you in some way. Do you understand?
D-25403: Sure whatever you say Doc, so long as I get paid what we agreed on then I'll do whatever you want.
D-25403 enters the containment room and begins sketching in the book
D-25403 begins sketching frantically, upon finishing frost begins to form on the walls and camera lenses. Through the frost a dark humanoid figure can be seen standing at 8ft tall with fingers touching the floor. Red glows from its eyes and chest before a loud screech is heard. The test subject is impaled through the chest and killed as SCP-XXXX-2 begins to rip its way out of the room and into the facility. SCP-XXXX-2 rampages for almost an hour before being subdued.
Dr.Snow: Writing down notes in the medical wing Extreme reaction from the test subject, thoughts are that they weren't mentally stable upon interacting with SCP-XXXX and the resulting manifestation of their emotions was strong enough to break free and harm the staff here. Theories suggest that while Amnesiacs had been used on the subject a few times after multiple tests with other SCP's the mental scaring, trauma, and anger was still present and was unconsciously picked up by SCP-XXXX. Resulting in the personification of all that anger and rage which was created by and directed towards the people who caused it. Further testing is required but mandatory physiological tests will need to be added to the containment procedures.
