Special Containment Procedures: This SCP shall be contained in a concrete square with 2.3 inch thick walls and a level 3 clearance level with no less than 4 level 3 clearance guards standing in front of the door to confirm that the SCP-5023 has not escaped containment. The cell will measure 9ft by 10ft. Once per week, a D class personnel shall be placed in the containment area of SCP-5023 to feed it or else it will attempt to escape it’s containment and cause possible damage to the facility. If this happens, SCP-5023 will be tranquilized and placed in a new containment cell with the same requirements until the original containment cell has been repaired.
Description: SCP-5023 is a pale severed hand with various cuts and scratches all over itself. These scratches have shown no sign of healing and where they originated from is unknown. A liquid that seems to resemble human blood constantly drips from the severed wrist of SCP-5023. No biological traces were discovered during tests with this liquid. SCP-5023 seems to be about 9.5 inches long from the tip of its middle finger to the cut area where it seemed to be separated from its owner's wrist. It is about 4.3 inches wide from thumb to pinkie finger and roughly 1.3 inches thick. It is reported that the palm of SCP-5023 has a hole that measures 3in by 3in with what appears to be human blood all around it. Tests on this part of SCP-5023 have been unsuccessful due to the disappearance of the hole and the liquid around it whenever one of SCP-5023-?? is killed.
