Special Containment Procedures: Original pamphlets containing SCP-#### are kept within a standard metal file container. Any other instances of SCP-####-A discovered most be added to the same container.
SCP-####-B is to be kept in a cold preservation unit and is available for tests with permission by the site director, simple closed circuit vigilance is enough.
Any person affected most be administered class-A amnestics after briefing and can be safely released again.
All of Elizabeth Vancroft's personal belongings were tested for memetic properties under the pretense of a bacteriological hazard, and after deemed safe were returned to her family. Several items were never found and must be contained as soon as discovered pending memetic and anomalous analysis.

SCP-####-B is the corpse of Elizabeth Vancroft, a very famous horror fiction author, wich was found animated and giving away the original pamphlets. After it gave away the last pamphlet it lost all indication of mobility and started exhibiting decomposing signs.

SCP-####-B is the corpse of Elizabeth Vancroft, a deceased author famous for publishing horror fiction. SCP-####-B was discovered to be reanimated and distributing the original SCP-####-A. Following the distribution, SCP-####-B ceased to show any life signs.

SCP-#### is a memetic agent. It causes humans exposed to it to perceive corpses suspended from high altitudes that fall to the ground.
SCP-#### was located and retrieved in ██████ █████, █████████ on January 18, 20██. SCP-#### was first discovered █ days after known writer Elizabeth Vancroft disappearance. Several people saw her giving away pamphlets at the entrance of ████████ International Hotel. According to witnesses she seemed to be fine except for the pale coloration of her skin and whiteness in the eyes, in concordance with early stages of death. Agent ██████ was in the vicinity and was exposed to the memetic agent while getting information about the corpse, after wich contacted the Foundation. A dispatch team was sent to the area. They contained all pamphlets, retrieved the corpse of Elizabeth Vancroft and administered class-A amnestics to all but twelve affected. A cover up story about a terrorist attack was made public by most official media.
Document #????-1: Report of Dr. Oswald
Twelve affected civilians were retrieved for further questioning as well as Agent ██████. After all of them were briefed and the information compiled, they received class-A amnestics. Agent ██████ remained for a week under observation, and after he showed no more that normal stress symptoms associated with this kind of exposure he also received class-A amnestics.

Dr. Oswald: So you were just passing by?
John ██████████: Yes.
Dr. Oswald: What happened next.
John ██████████: She just gave me this weird paper.
Dr. Oswald: Can you describe it?
John ██████████: It was titled "On the subject of true horror and other highened emotions", I will not forget that. And had some text about… I think it was some rambling about terror or something like that. Didn't really understood it.
Dr. Oswald: Anything else?
John ██████████: It had this weird symbols and drawings all over the paper. Some of them were over the text and made it difficult to read. It kind of gave me a headache.
Dr. Oswald: And when did it start.
John ██████████: At that moment. The sound, it was awful, somehow I knew it was a person before I turned back to look at it.
Dr. Oswald: It was just one person?
John ██████████: At first yes. But then I looked up and saw all of them. It must have been a thousand easily. Thank god I can't hear it here.
Dr. Oswald: Okey I think that is enough for now, rest a little and we will continue when you feel a little better.
John ██████████: Please, you can stop this, right?

Document #????-1: Report from a test regarding the nature of the hallucinations
Testing of physical properties, if any, of hallucinations caused by SCP-????, after several briefed victims reported they saw others interacting with the corpses
D-????-####1 is exposed while D-????-####2 remains as control
Test subject D-????-####1 was instructed to measure the weight of the corpses with scales, digital and mechanical, and to use a proximity sensor, all of wich failed to detect anything.
Then test subject D-????-####1 was instructed to interact with the corpses in various ways while D-????-####2 watched, afterwards D-????-####2 was ordered to interact with the bodies with verbal help from D-????-####1.

Dr. Pepe Arias: D-????-####2, can you see anything that D-????-####1 is describing?
D-????-####2: No, I don't see anything, just that he is crouched and mimicking grabbing something.

D-????-####2: Then why the floor is fine? The dude fell from very high according to you.
Dr. Pepe Arias: D-????-####1, let's try something else. Step on the corpse, so that you are not directly on the floor, please.
D-????-####1: I don't feel very comfortable with that, but ok. Its kind of difficult, the body is quite soft.
Test subject D-????-####1 is seen stepping on something and, visually, is now floating.
D-????-####2: Holy [EXPLETIVE REDACTED]! He is floating now!
Dr. Pepe Arias: D-????-####2, try to interact with the thing under D-????-####1.
Test subject D-????-####2 reaches under Test subject D-????-####1.
D-????-####2: There is nothing there, my hand is right under his feet and I can't feel anything.
Dr. Pepe Arias: D-????-####1, what do you see?
D-????-####1: Well, his hand is going through the body as its not there, that's for sure, but I can't see it inside the corpse. Don't know what to tell you doc.

Addendum A:
I don't think this memetic agent is actually causing any hallucination, it actually seems to be of physical nature, at least partly. But for now its only a theory. Dr. Pepe Arias, Head Researcher of the Memetic and Mind Altering Studies Division

Dr. Pepe Arias: Okay, lets start this testing by introducing the test subject to the memetic agent. Please D-????-####3, take the envelope and look at the content, then close it again.
[D-????-####3 opens the envelope and after looking at it puts it away on the provided table]
D-????-####3: Ok now what?
Dr. Pepe Arias: We will open the gates of this hangar and you will tell us what you see.
D-????-####3: Wow! Did you hear that?
Dr. Pepe Arias: Hear what?
D-????-####3: That sound. It sounded like something hitted the ceiling really hard.
Dr. Pepe Arias: Didn't hear anything, can you point towards it?
[D-????-####3 points to a part of the ceiling and shows clear signs of confusion]
D-????-####3: The ceiling seems fine…
Dr. Pepe Arias: Ok lets proceed to the gates.
[While travelling towards the gates D-##### seems to be surprised by another sound but the camera's microphone picks nothing]
Dr. Pepe Arias: Everything ok?
D-????-####3: I think so.
[The team reaches the gates and they start to open]
D-????-####3: Oh my god! Are those bodies?!
Dr. Pepe Arias: What do you see?
D-????-####3: Corpses, at least three of them.

D-????-####3: One fell down just now!
Dr. Pepe Arias: They will keep falling, don't worry about that. Just tell us what you see for the record.

Addendum B: Report of Dr. Pepe Soriano
We tried today to assess the nature of the hallucinations and came to de conclusion that they are, at least partially, of physical nature, confirming Dr. Pepe Arias theory, having injured one of the test subjects after wich it died.
