Hello guys!
First of all, let me introduce myself: I'm NightHiker, and, as the nickname suggests I love going hiking in the middle of the woods at night, and then sleeping in my tent.
I love defining me as a skeptical, but the experience I had last night changed my mind.
Here a photo of the woods I went yesterday:

A really nice place, isn't it?
The weird stuff started when I was mounting my tent around 7 pm, when I heard some children laughing in the middle of the forest.
I shout "hello" in the direction where I heard the laughs, but I had no answer, just some bird chirping.
Around 10 pm, after I had diner and some stargazing, I decided to go sleeping in my tent.
Around 2 am, I started hearing some chanting and laughing in the middle of the forest: I was pretty scared, but, nonetheless, I decided to follow those noises.
When I was almost near the place, all the noises stopped and it was pretty silent, but when I was ready to leave that place, it appeared a door made of light.

After that I decided it was enough, but I'm sure, when I ran away from that place the door opened, since the forest was way brighter.
Thankfully my car was near the tent, so quickly I took my stuff, packed the tent in a really fast way, and I went to home.

Holy shit, dude!
That was scary.
Since I'm a bit skeptical, I did some reverse image search with google and tineye, and I didn't found your photos, so those photos are yours.
I asked my grandfather about spooky stuff that can happens in a forest and he said me, that he heard when he was younger, childrens laughing and weird lights in the woods.
Since I think I recognized the forest, is Coopers Rock State Forest?

Did your grandfather tell something interesting about supernatural things that can happen in the forest?
