Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in an on-site biodome, measuring atleast 20m in diameter with no possibilities of outside-observation. A river consisting of naturally occuring river water, naturally ocurring vegitation and a bridge leading across said river must be installed inside the biodome at all times. Weekly testing of vegitation inside the dome is to be carried out by current head-researcher of the biology department. If changes in vegitation occur or containment has to be transferred to another site for other reasons, transfer to a new biodome is to be carried out directly following SCP-XXXXs next animate state. Staff shall not make direct contact with the entity and transfer is to be carried out with remote controlled drones. Remaining vegitation inside the old dome is to be left to die out through natural causes. Testing of SCP-XXXX or surrounding vegitation is to be followed by complete decontamination of all exposed staff and atleast 6 months of psychological evaluation.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a 17-years old human male of western-european origin, weighing 64kg and measuring 1.77m in height. It has brown hair, is clothed completely black with a large black coat and has (disregarding SCP-XXXX-1) dark blue eyes. Depending on the observer, one or more injuries of any kind can be observed on the body of SCP-XXXX. Vitals of SCP-XXXX show no signs of life, however SCP-XXXX can and will become animate in currently unspecified time-intervals.

SCP-XXXX posesses multiple anomalous properties. The first and most obvious are both SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2, although it is currently unknown if they got their anomalous properties from SCP-XXXX or vice-versa. While SCP-XXXXs right eye seems to be that of a normal human (although heavily bloodshot) its left eye, hereafter referred to as SCP-XXXX-1, is almost completely black, absorbing approximately 99.995% of the visible spectrum. Contradictory to the rest of SCP-XXXX-1, a light-emitting cross is located at its center. Analysis of eye movement during SCP-XXXXs animate periods has shown that the center of the cross follows objects much like a normal pupil, meaning it probably serves the same purpose as such.

SCP-XXXX-1s anomalous properties only become active in SCP-XXXXs animate periods and vary with each one. The most commonly surfacing properties include:

  • screams, crying and other distress signals of human origin emitting from SCP-XXXX-1
  • a red liquid leaking from SCP-XXXX-1 (biological testing has yet to be carried out)
  • white smoke leaking out of the cross at the center of SCP-XXXX-1
  • [REDACTED] (see Addendum-XXXX-α)

SCP-XXXX-2 is a ███████ brand smartphone. Its charge is at a constant 67%, which has not changed since retreival of the entity. Removing SCP-XXXX-2 from SCP-XXXX will result in complete loss of functionality of SCP-XXXX-2 and [REDACTED] (see Addendum-XXXX-α). If SCP-XXXX is in its animate state it will access SCP-XXXX-2 and open a text memo. It will then start writing a text, which will always vary between different animate states. However, reading or otherwise gaining information present in the text will result in immediate depressive and/or suicidal behaviour, followed by complete loss of brain function. Thus, the text composed by SCP-XXXX was classified as a cognitohazard and is forbidden to be evaluated on by any observers. Doing so regardless will result in immediate termination of the subject. Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-2 will always dematerialize beneath the bridge the entity is located on, as SCP-XXXX will always drop SCP-XXXX-2 in the river beneath the bridge when exiting its animate state. All attempts at stopping this process have been unsuccessful. When entering its animate state once again, SCP-XXXX will grab into the right-side pocket of its coat and materialize another instance of SCP-XXXX-2.

SCP-XXXX was first discovered in ███████, Germany, when local authorities contacted the foundation due to assumed anomalous properties of the entity. SCP-XXXX was bound to small bridge crossing a river near a children's home, leaning on the railing focused on SCP-XXXX-2. After ██/██/████ corpses of missing civilians and orphans of said children's home were found at the end of the river and local police started investigations immediately after. During investigations, a team of two investigetors notice that SCP-XXXX never left its position on the bridge, staying there for multiple days without moving or ingesting food or water. After questioning how SCP-XXXX-2 didn't run out of power they approach the entity for questioning. One of the investigators (I-1) then points out that SCP-XXXXs throat is cut open and becomes severely distressed at the view of it. The other investigator (I-2) states that he cannot observe any injuries on the subject, slowly raising his on-duty handgun, aiming it at SCP-XXXX. Immediately, both investigators suffer extreme pain, I-1 in his throat and I-2 in the lower-right side of his abdomen. At this point SCP-XXXX starts turning its head towards the investigators, crying a red liquid (seemingly blood) out of SCP-XXXX-1. The investigators later reported hearing mumbling from the entity, although it was too quiet to make out what it was saying. Shortly after, SCP-XXXX collapses with its head resting on the railing, dropping SCP-XXXX-2 into the river. The investigators make the decision to retreat and alert to their supervisor, who then contacts the foundation.
