Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures:
As SCP-XXXX does not pose any risk it should be locked and left in its current state unless for testing, every month a staff member should check SCP-XXXX state and report the changes.
Description
SCP-XXXX is a room 3×3×3 meters in size.
No Site-██ staff recall SCP-XXXX to be part of the Site-██. All subjects that enter SCP-XXXX have a reported feeling that a machine should be in the room, most subjects claim that machine they are describing has "significant importance in human history".
Five aluminum plates of 1×1 meters, two motherboards approximately 10×20centimeters, and a circuit wire connecting the motherboards were found all afterward a period of ██days.
Objects are attached to each other. It is theorized they are parts of the machine that should be in SCP-XXXX, it has also been theorized that the machine will build itself given enough time, all parts of the machine were left in place of its discovery.
On 27 of June 20██ during the circuit wire appearance cameras recorded an entity resembling a shadow of a humanoid male on the wall beside parts of the machine carrying the wire.
The entity appeared to be trying to connect the wire to rest of the structure when the entity seemingly attached the wire, camera footage was distorted, when footage stabilized the entity has disappeared and the object has attached to the rest of the structure. Further observation is suggested.
Entity building the machine has been classified as SCP-XXXX-1.
As of the current date,██/██/█████ the intentions of SCP-XXXX-1 aside from assembling the machine, are unknown. The purpose of the machine is also unknown. No evidence was left by SCP-XXXX-1.
It is estimated that the machine will be finished in approximately 100-200 years if it continues the current rate of additional parts appearing.
SCP-XXXX was discovered during a routine inspection of Site-██ by a janitor █████ █████.
Addendum
Here is a complete list of tests performed on SCP-XXXX
Test Log 1 - Date ██/██20██
Subject: All parts of the machine
Procedure: Attempt to separate circuit wire from rest of the structure, via hacksaw.
Results: During early stages of cutting a burst of electricity emitted from the machine, despite the size of the outburst, D-385679 ( subject using the hacksaw )suffered only first degree burns and guards standing near him suffered little to no burns, in normal conditions all of the people in it should have been burned alive.
Analysis: Parts of the machine being built within SCP-XXXX do not appear to be separable, and when attempts are made to separate parts from it, electrical outbursts will manifest from the machine
Test Log 2 - Date ██/██/20██
Subject: SCP-XXXX-1
Procedure:Observation of manifestation of the fourth aluminum plate by two D-class subjects.
Results: SCP-XXXX-1 has manifested on the wall nearest to current parts of the machine. Neither of the subjects was visibly frightened, SCP-XXXX-1 seemingly ignored the subjects, afterward distortion of the camera and materialization of aluminum plate, both of subjects were visibly afraid, in a later performed interview it was found that neither of them saw SCP-XXXX-1 and their reaction was to the sudden materialization of the aluminum plate.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX-1 is not visible to humans and can be only be seen through video recordings.
Interviewed: D-375923 ( one of the two D-class subjects from Test Log 2 )
Interviewer: Doctor █████
<Begin Log>
Doctor █████: What did you see on the wall nearest to the machine parts.
D-375923: Nothing just a wall.Doctor █████: Did you see SCP-XXXX-1?
D-375923: Something else was there?Doctor █████: Yes.
Doctor █████ shows D-375923 a picture of SCP-XXXX-1
D-375923 becomes visibly afraidDoctor █████: You were obviously scared, so I' asking you, by what?
D-375923: Because that metal plate just been there after i blinked.
<End Log, >Closing Statement: Interview have further proved the results of Test 2.
Test Log 3 - Date██/██/20██
Subject: SCP-XXXX-1
Procedure: Attempt of communication with SCP-XXXX-1 During the expected appearance of the next part of the machine ( fifth aluminum plate ).
Results: After SCP-XXXX-1 manifested, D-372312 has been ordered to ask if anybody is in SCP-XXXX after the subject complied with the order SCP-XXXX-1 did not hear him or ignored him, then subject was ordered to stand in a way obscuring SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-1 ignored this action, subject was then ordered to write, with black chalk previously provided, on wall, on which SCP-XXXX-1 manifested, a message "Do you know i am here?", SCP-XXXX-1 ignored the message, test log was discontinued due to SCP-XXXX-1 accomplishing the addition of the next part of the machine.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX-1 does not communicate with people and ignores all attempts of communication with it.

███████████████████████████████████
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
All of SCP-XXXX appearances in mass media should be covered up, all people who claim to have seen SCP-XXXX are to be administered B class amnestics, provisional base operated by MTF Iota-66 "Bug Spray"1under supervision of MTF Zeta-9 "Mole Rats" is to be set up outside of SCP-XXXX, due to the nature of SCP-XXXX all inhabitants of SCP-XXXX are effectively self-containing, in a situation that one of the inhabitants adapt to lower oxygen levels without lowering its body size is to be terminated immediately.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a cave of the main section approximately 2km wide and 563meters in height, SCP-XXXX is located on Borneo in █████████ ███████ Valley, SCP-XXXX has retained atmosphere base similar to that of Carboniferus period( 5% percent difference).
Most of the SCP-XXXX interior is overgrown by many native to Borneo trees, it is unknown why bacteria causing wood decay are unable to proliferate inside SCP-XXXX despite numerous numbers of dead plant matter in SCP-XXXX.
Various tests in near proximity of entrance proved SCP-XXXX anomalous effects started to manifest in either late Carboniferous period or early Permian period.
All of the SCP-XXXX inhabitants are arthropods that are enlarged in size which was probably caused by additional percentage of oxygen, there has been reported 6 species of insects but it is theorized that in SCP-XXXX there are living other unrecorded insect species.
The ecosystem is fuelled by an object appearing to be an artificial sun.
Following incident A1 no further exploration of SCP-XXXX to be attempted unless by direct order of Senior Scientist Albert Smith. No further exploration attempts of SCP-XXXX are to be made.
Addendum:
On 9.57pm ████████ █████████ reported to local authorities that on 12.38am all of his exploration team expect him have gone into SCP-XXXX and didn't return, when a rescue team was sent they disappeared too, after approximately nine hours supposedly only alive member of rescue team emerged from the cave and collapsed, when he had woke up 24 hours later Foundation contacted him, he confessed of [Data Expunged] and given exact coordinates of SCP-XXXX then he was administered A class amnestics as well all people involved.
__Exploration of SCP-XXXX - Date27/05/2000
Subject: D-846532
Procedure: by order of Senior Scientist Albert Smith, exploration of SCP-XXXX was requested, D-class subject sent into SCP-XXXX was equipped with a camera on his forehead that was transmitting directly to the base outside SCP-XXXX.
10.50am D-846532 descended down the cave.
12.47am D-846532 encountered grass and trees, the subject was disturbed by this discovery but also said he was feeling stronger than in the entrance of SCP-XXXX.
2.39pm D-846532 encountered a specimen of Scarabaeidae genus2, approximately 230centimeters in size, the subject has expressed fear.
3.40pm D-846532 observed 4 specimens of Faunis stomphax stomphax3 ranging from 10centimeters to 40centimeters in size flying by.
3.42 Subject observed very bright oval structure, possibly artificial sun
3.45pm D-846532 has been caught in a web of Lampropelma sp. (unknown size)45when specimen tried to attack him it was attacked by a specimen of Scolopendra subspinipes6of 150centimeters in length.
3.51pm while escaping subject encountered 2 specimens of Myrmoteras Irodum7(90 and 100 centimeters)that tried to kill a specimen of Blatella germanica8(50 centimeters), one of the ants attacked and killed D-846532, severing parts of his body.
4.00pm The D-846532 body has been dragged into an ants nest, the camera was still recording( even though it has been damaged), subjects body has been dragged into the growing room for larvae.
4.09pm D-846532 body has been given to larvae that immediately injected him with gastric juices, 2 minutes later camera stopped recording.
Results: Various arthropods have been documented to live in SCP-XXXX
Analysis: By the size of the arthropods encountered by D-846532, it has been speculated that the atmosphere in SCP-XXXX is oxygen-rich or closely resembling that of Carboniferus period.
| Species | Aproximate usual size |
|---|---|
| Myrmoteras Irodum | 100cm |
| Scarabaeidae sp. | 250-200cm |
| Lampropelma sp. | 150cm |
| Faunis stomphax stomphax | 50cm, Wingspan 100cm |
| Scolopendra subspinipes | 300cm in length |
| Blatella germanica | 50cm |
__Test Alpha - Date██/██/20██
Subject: D-657432
Procedure: Subject descended down SCP-XXXX with fruits as bait in order to attract and lure outside a specimen of Scarabaeidae sp., subject managed to lure specimen into outside when beetle collapsed, specimen died 5 minutes later by suffocation, this test was successfully performed on specimens of Blatella germanica, Faunis stomphax stomphax which all ended with specimen dying and unsuccessfully with specimens of Lampropelma sp. and Scolopendra subspinipes resulting in ██ casualties, test was not performed on any specimen of Myrmoteras Irodum, no new species were discovered during the tests, in later performed autopsy revealed specimens to possess no different internal body structure than their normal counterparts.
Results: All of the successfully lured specimens died because of suffocation.
Analysis: None of the inhabitants of SCP-XXXX can exit SCP-XXXX without risking its life.

Overview!
Name: Queenie
Species: Formica rufibarbis (Red-Barbed ant)
Primary Caretaker: Terrestrial Team, Joel Camps
Diet: Cockroaches and Superworms ( but she and her children like all bugs ), also honey
Housed: Greenhouse 1
Creature Features!
Queenie is a name for our Red-Barbed ant, what is strange they only live in Europe not here in Oregon, we don't know from where she got here but it probably was a unresponsible owner, when we found her she still had her wings, she was climbing rocks probably searching for a place to make a colony in, good thing we caught her, she would froze in winter.
We placed her in a test tube, she made herself comfy in there and just sat there for like a week, she ignored food but that was okay we know ant queens don't really like food when there are no workers around, but then she had eggs, not standard six but a dozen or so, that when her first ability showed itself, she is producing eggs very fast, fortunately they grow up at a normal rate.
She and her kids are more intelligent than normal ants, i mean they know where they are supposed to be when some of them accidentally fell out when we were attaching new segments of their terrarium complex they go right back in, and i can swear to God some of them try to talk with us, but we can't observe that because we gave them their own greenhouse.
History!
As we said she was found here in Oregon like 30 minutes walk from Boring, Joel was walking there when she saw her, he is, fortunately, our Entomologist and when he saw her Joel instantly knew she wasn't from here, as we said she is very intelligent so when Joel tried to get her on his hand, Queenie instantly knew he wasn't going to hurt her so she walked right onto it, later Joel brought her here.
We put her in a test tube with water and cotton, Joel offered to handle her for a while but when she had first children we knew she was going to need a bigger space so we bought her a terrarium and arranged it into middle Europes climate, she really needed it, it was so cramped in her first home, so we unplugged the tube in terrarium, her workers instantly jumped to work, she probably appreciated new space, Joel gave her and her children first cockroaches because they were before feed mealworms.
After two months and two additional terrarium segments later she needed bigger space so we gave her half of the greenhouse, it was good for a year but then they needed to expand again so we allowed them the second half, right now it seems to be alright in there when they will need more space we will give them a second greenhouse, they don't attack us when we are working there and are trying not to be squished, they especially like Joel.
Special Needs and Accommodations!
We give them a bucket to cockroaches and superworms and that should be enough for three-four days, also we need to give them two big jars of honey this will last them for four days, we have from time to time problem of not enough food but that doesn't seem to bother ants.
Their greenhouse needs to be decorated in middle Europe climate and plants from there to be planted in the greenhouse, to not stress out ants.
We don't really need to keep the doors to greenhouse shut because they seem to know that they are not allowed in other places, but we do it for safety, some of us really don't like insects.
Notes about Queenie!
Joel Camps, Queenie colony caretaker says that they will grow much bigger because they aren't born any boys and girls just regular old workers.
