Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept inside a 10 by 10 by 10 meter room. There is to be adequate lighting inside the room, the lights are never to be turned off, even during testing. SCP-XXXX is not to be given anything unless specifically requested by the SCP. Nothing may be used to obstruct the view of SCP-XXXX.
If SCP-XXXX flips the page, Compound-12 is to go under lockdown code superblue1 excluding one assigned scientific personnel who is to ask SCP-XXXX what it has learned. If SCP-XXXX says anything relating to a breach of containment or world-ending events, all personnel are to report into the nuclear shelters immediately. O5 Council members and Site Directors with anyone who they deem necessary are to go at least 500 miles from the site immediately. Constant radio communications are to be held until the event is over.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a human male approximately five and a half meters tall. who appears to be reading a book in a language we haven't decoded. It stays sitting in its chair, unable to be moved by physical means. If someone is to speak to SCP-XXXX in the form of a question, they will respond in the fact of that answer, to as far ahead as they see.
SCP-XXXX's book is named "The book of life" in gold lettering on a leather cover. The paper appears to be perfectly white with no stains. SCP-XXXX is approximately 5/8 through the book. The book appears to be 5 inches thick from front to back. All measurements are approximate as touching SCP-XXXX or its book will result in the person who touches SCP-XXXX to have a seizure, in which the subject will die. Even if you are not directly touching SCP-XXXX you will still have a seizure if you disturb SCP-XXXX.
While SCP-XXXX is being tested personnel nearby non-safe class SCPs are to be informed in case SCP-XXXX speaks of a containment breach. Only Class-D personnel may ask SCP-XXXX questions as in the case of Dr. ████████. It has been discovered that if you ask questions too far in the future to where SCP-XXXX is at in their book, you will have sudden heart failure. It has been found that SCP-XXXX is approximately 96 hours ahead of where we are in time.
SCP-XXXX appears to need nothing to read it's book. Food has been provided on 2 occasions, and so have drinks, but neither has been accepted. SCP-XXXX doesn't need sleep either, it will keep reading. The lights can be off as well but are to remain on so SCP-XXXX can be watched at all times. When asked preferences, it will remain quiet. It seems to only answer questions relating to the past all the way up to 96 hours from the time the question is asked.
