Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently uncontainable and its presence can't be detected, since it only manifests after a breach takes place. In the event of a breach, the entire Site is to be quarantined, with no personnel allowed to enter or leave. The quarantine lasts until SCP-XXXXs effects disappear.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a phenomenon that occurs subsequent to a containment breach of another SCP. SCP-XXXX causes the personnel to feel suspicious on who the initial perpetrator may have been. In most cases, this will result in one, two or three persons being labeled as, 'guilty', or as the 'imposter'. Following this scenario, personnel will engage in verbal as well as physical arguments and will become seemingly unable to resolve their disagreements, leading to violence and murder. Personnel under this effect have been designated SCP-XXXX-A. Those who show immunity to it are designated SCP-XXXX-B.

As was mentioned before, SCP-XXXX affects all personnel at the site of the incident, however, its influence does not extend to nearby sites. Personnel who are not there for the initial onset of SCP-XXXX but enter a facility undergoing the effects will, in turn, be affected by it at a reduced intensity.

Since the breach of Site-12 in 2017, SCP-XXXX events have resulted in the death of over 50 personnel in the various fights, murders, and termination sentences of SCP-XXXX-A instances before the anomaly was discovered. Thanks to Dr Luke's investigations and contributions, the death rate caused by this anomaly has been reduced by over 90%, with almost all cases resulting in a successful handling of the situation.

Addendum XXXX-1: Interview after breach

Interviewee: Dr Luke
Notes: An interview at the end of the breach of Site 12, year 2017. All individuals present at said site were interviewed as rumors stated that Dr Mend was responsible for the breach in one way or another. So far, everyone testified by declaring he was guilty, with Dr Luke being the last interviewee, waiting to give his opinion.

Dr Luke: Oh, hello there. This certainly is strange, why am I being interviewed? Have I done something wrong? I thought the breach has been taken care of…

Researcher Chuan: The reason for your presence here is that we need to hear your side of the story, about what happened.

Dr Luke: About what happened? What do you mean? Do you want me to describe the whole incident or…

Researcher Chuan: I just need to hear from you how Dr Mend was behind all this.

Dr Luke: Dr Mend? What about him? I'm not sure I understand what you're talking about.

Researcher Chuan: Every single person that I've interviewed before you claimed that Dr Mend caused this breach. That's testimony from more than 30 individuals, pretty strong evidence. You were present there and managed to escape with the rest. You really don't know what I'm talking about?

Dr Luke: No… I mean, yes. Wait, just let me explain.

Researcher Chuan: Go ahead.

Dr Luke: Well, I think it was about 10 am, or maybe 10:30? Anyways, somewhere around that time, I was sitting with Dr Mend, Dr Larson and Dr Dennis, we were simply eating at the cafeteria, everything was normal. I recall Dr Mend going to the toilet, while the rest of my colleagues and I were just conversing. Then, out of nowhere, the emergency alarm ran off. We all quickly got out from the cafeteria and rushed to gate B. I also remember falling down the stairs, hitting my head very hard. I stayed unconscious for about 5 minutes, maybe?, and later woke up with Dr Mend helping me to evacuate the facility. And… that's pretty much it.

Researcher Chuan: So you're saying that Dr Mend helped you escape, instead of leaving you for dead?

Dr Luke: Well… yes.

Researcher Chuan remained silent for a moment, writing something on his notebook.

Researcher Chuan: Are you implying that Dr Mend isn't guilty?

Dr Luke: What? No, guilty of what? I just told you he helped me escape. If he truly was behind the breach, then surely he wouldn't have done anything to help me. Why are you treating like he's some kind of an imposter or something? I was with him the whole time before the breach, how could he have been behind it? Do you have other forms of evidence, like video footage or something?

Researcher Chuan: No. Electricity went out during the incident.

Dr Luke: Well, I can tell you that Dr Mend is innocent, as he's a very trustable and respectable man that would never do such a thing; also “everyone” blaming him just seems off. Tell me, did all of them say the same thing, or everyone gave a different story?

Researcher Chuan: That's none of your concern, doctor. I think I've heard enough. You're the only one defending him, which means that you were working with him, making you a suspect.

Dr Luke: Wai-What? Are you serious?

Researcher Chuan: You hit your head very hard, so your memory might be failing you. That's why we cannot terminate you like we'll terminate Dr Mend, consider yourself lucky.

Dr Luke: Excuse me? Terminate him!?

Researcher Chuan: Guards, seize him. This interview is done.

Addendum XXXX-2: Dr Luke's diary

3 September 2017
After 3 months, I have been finally set free. It seems they forgot about me until another breach took place at site 16, where they decided to just let me go. Apparently, my case was simply too weak, given my mental condition during the interview. I must say, what happened back in June was really strange. I can't believe Mend is gone, let alone the fact that everyone went against him… How come? Did everyone just go completely insane? I don't remember seeing anyone acting suspicious that day. Was that the work of something paranormal? Maybe I could find out if I go to Site-16 to see if something similar happened. Yes, that will do.

I cannot believe my eyes, the exact same thing has happened ! I have been given access to see the interview recording after the breach, and everyone blamed Dr Karl. Although I don't know him personally, I've heard he's a man of renown in the Foundation, and has been working here for almost 9 years , only to end up suffering the same fate as Mend. This pattern is most unusual, I must say, and it is in my duty to investigate further, if no-one else will.

I think I've made an astonishing discovery. As I was on my way to Site 12, a massive explosion just took place at Site 11. Lo and behold, I see the same pattern. But this time, everyone seems to be fighting and blaming each other for negligence and unprofessionalism, and there isn't only one "guilty" person. The scene is truly ridiculous, it's as if I'm seeing a mystery/crime movie, but turned into a crappy comedy. I mean, everyone could have seen that abnormal behavior of all these individuals. Or is it just me? No, that can't be possible.

These 6 long and annoying months have finally passed, which means I'm eligible again as an interviewer. I can understand that the Foundation doesn't trust imprisoned personnel, but I was innocent, dammit! Anyways, now is my chance to interview these nit-wits and expose their ridiculous accusations and behavior.

Yet another important discovery. Jeremy, a good friend of mine, decided to work with me, although I've noticed something strange: when we go to the site where the breach took place and these weird behaviors are present, he can't really seem to immediatly tell what's wrong. He recognizes that everyone is blaming each other, but doesn't really conclude anything about it. Could it be that I'm immune to this effect? If so, then I must find the "vaccine" to solve this problem.
