SCP-4394 (place holder number)
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: The entity is to be kept within a plain twice-locked container, one key lock and the other a combination, no smaller than 1m x 0.5m X 0.5m. The container itself should be kept in site 19. This item should never be handled by D-class personnel.
Description: This entity's appearance (referred to as 'texture') has a loose connection to the items that make up it's physical manifestation (referred to as 'hit box'). When moved by any method, the texture often 'lags' behind the hit box though it is not a hard and fast rule. If moved within a vehicle, it is advised to attach an item to this SCP to prevent losing the entity while it is invisible.
SCP-4394's texture has similar aesthetics to a low polygon rendition of a two-handed medieval warhammer. The surface of this object bears a flat, ornate celtic patterns on its handle that cannot be removed through any method. While attempts have been made to discern the material this item has been made from, no additional information has been gained. When pressure is applied to the edges or corners, sometimes the tool used will breach the item, leaving the surface undamaged and no further resistance is found once inside nor when attempting to remove it. When this is done with a micro camera, the item appear to be transparent from the inside. It fails to cast a shadow.
When struck with this item, the subject looses the abilty to communicate. They suffer temporary minor strokes and lose control of their hands and face when attempting to write, draw, type, speak or communicate with facial expressions or gestures. Depending on the strength of the hit, they may also become blind, deaf and lose the sense of touch, sometimes appearing dead, regardless of where they are hit. This effect has not been seen when the hammer is dropped onto someone, meaning a deliberate strike must make contact for anything to occur. Once the effects have worn off, each subsequent strike exponentially increases the length of its effects, though if struck while still effected it seems to undo the stupor. The first time the subject is hit averages around a 24 hour period. It seems to have no real effect on the user, however.
Addendum:Interview with D-Class personnel 3/4/20██
Interviewer: Dr. ████████
Subject: D-67989, a 56-year old male convicted for systematic kidnapping and murdering of a number of women. He is known for being charismatic, having a quick wit and silver tongue. As such most personnel find him [REDACTED]. The interview began before the subject was 'introduced' to the entity.
Foreword: D-67989 was left unrestrained in a bare interrogation room with a toughened glass divider between the subject and Dr. ████████. Dr. ████ had SCP-4394 in her possession and was on the same side of the divider as D-67989. It was later discovered that Dr. ████ had had prior contact with D-67989.
<Begin Log, 3/4/20██ 1543>
Dr. ████████: Are you ready to begin, D-67989?
D-67989: So what are you gonna have me do this time? You gonna try to kill me again?
Dr. ████████: We have a new entity and are unsure of its effects when used as a weapon. You will have honour of being the first to feel its effects.
D-67989: What do you mean-
<A 'thump' of an item striking someone's skull and Dr. ████ leaving the room>
Dr. ████████: D-67989, do you feel any abnormal effects from SCP-4394?
<pause>
Dr. ████████: D-67989? Can you hear me?
D-67989: ehianeru. ahtrerehhur.
Dr. ████████: Subject remains conscious. He appears to be trying to speak but is unable to as his face fails to fully respond. SCP-4394 may cause strokes.
<short pause>
Dr. ████████: Once subject has given up on his speech attempts, he appears to have attempted a rude gesture but lost control of his arms before being able to complete it. Keep D-67989 under close supervision for the next 48 hours to monitor changes in behaviour.
SCP-4457 (place holder number)
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Yet to be determined.
Description: SCP-4457 is a self-altering, self-duplicating internet post. While often appearing as a simple text file, it has been known to become individual .jpgs, .pngs, .gifs and .mp3s. SCP-4457 is recognised by the use of copyrighted characters (usually a children's franchise) and cliche plot line with numerous spelling and grammatical errors. While it has the ability to change itself freely, it seems to be unable to repost/post itself on different sites. Presumably the SCP attempts to change its story inorder to encourage people into copying it onto other sites.
Seemingly SCP-4457's mutation involves it searching through popular posts on the site it currently inhabits and copying aspects the pieces have in common to encourage people to distribute the entity. Multiple tests with various Class D personnel have determined no ill effects.
Addendum
-2 weeks after initial contact.
Further research into SCP-4457's Class D personnel has resulted in evidence of a minor psychological effect after coming in contact with the entity. Seemingly the subject becomes more tolerant of the subjects and themes of the story or image. Their grasp on grammar and spelling also seems to slip.
Addendum 2
-6 weeks after initial contact.
The subjects that couldn't copy and paste the story are actively seeking out SCP-4457. It seems to have an addictive property.
Addendum 3
-10 weeks after initial contact.
Those that failed to repeatedly find the same version of SCP-4457 have returned to normal, those that succeed have started to repeat sections of the SCP-4457's story like a mantra, spelling errors included. For the sake of other personnel, they have been contained to the same cell. No amnestic appear to effect the behaviour.
Addendum 4
-15 weeks after initial contact.
Subjects changed behaviour suddenly overnight. ██████ and ██████ had to be [REDACTED]. Remains of subject ███████ were found with their flesh [REDACTED] and passages of the story engraved into their bones using teeth. It doesn't appear that the themes of the story has any impact on the behaviour itself. This could become a serious issue but as it is unlikely that individuals will repeatedly find the same 'wild' versions of SCP-4457 and not be able to duplicate it elseware, containing this entity isn't a priority.
SCP- 00000 (to be determined)
Object Class: Keter, Esoteric
Disruption Class: Dark
Risk Class: Critical
Special Containment Procedures: Yet to be determined.
Description: The Lady in White is an entity that appears to have incredible psychic abilities. The name comes from the visual appearance she generates within the minds of those who view her. Details vary from person to person but it is agreed that the 'Lady' is always significantly taller than those who view her, is considerably thinner than a human could be while alive, has a blue skin tone and is dressed entirely in white. She does have a face but no specifics can be agreed upon, it seems such details are removed once contact ends. The clothing itself varies wildly but appears to be linked to the viewer's perception of authority. The hair style appears to also be connected to this while the colour remains a consistant slate grey.
Camera footage is not effected by this ability but those who view the footage is if within her range are. Recording viewed outside of her range shows a short, slightly overweight, far east asian woman with glowing yellow eyes, long white hair dressed in a darkly coloured trouser suit.
The 'Lady's' ability effects more than just her appearance. She appears to have complete sensory control of her chosen victim(s). She will often manipulate audio senses to communicate while being recorded so there is no true recording of her true voice. She also has the ability to extract information from the minds of her victims. It is believe the Lady makes contact with SCP personnel to obtain information about other objects within our facility. She will exchange infromation with those she believes needs certain information and a cult appears to have been formed around her in the past.
