Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4021 is contained in a low security locker¹8m by 5m room. Any changes in position must be documented by on-site researchers, supervised by at least one member of MTF Eta-11 ("Savage Beasts"). Every year on ██-██ at █:██ PM, SCP-4021 will teleport to a random location in the United States, and it's teleportation pattern will continue normally from there. Because of the difficulty of finding SCP-4021 in this state, any reports of SCP-4021 are to be suppressed, and MTF Eta-11 ("Savage Beasts") is only to be sent when SCP-4021 is reported to be inside a structure capable of suppressing its abilities.

On ██-██-198█, SCP-4021 disappeared from containment. Approximately █ hours later, reports of a gas mask causing people to pass out at ██████████ Stadium were intercepted by Foundation agents implanted in the ██PD. MTF Eta-11 ("Savage Beasts") was dispatched to the location, and followed SCP-4021 around the arena. At the end of the game, SCP-4021 was retrieved, and people leaving the stadium were amnesticized. 1 year later, at the exact same time, SCP-4021 disappeared from containment again, and was located at [DATA EXPUNGED]. Disinformation campaigns stating that the gas mask was a Soviet spy device that, upon detecting a code word, will incapacitate the individual, hence the need to be quiet around the mask. Containment Procedures updated accordingly, and SCP-4021 reclassified as Euclid.

Description: SCP-4021 is a Soviet-Era gas mask made in the USSR sometime in 198█. It is unknown when or how its anomalous effect came to be, or if it was made to be anomalous. SCP-4021 is capable of teleporting random distances between 1 meter and ████ meters. SCP-4021 continuously emits a noise at a frequency of [DATA EXPUNGED], and about the noise level of a person yelling; This noise is only heard when in range of SCP-4021's secondary effect. SCP-4021's secondary effect will take place when an individual within a 3m range of the object speaks at a volume higher than the noise emitted by SCP-4021; Upon activation, SCP-4021's secondary effect will cause the individual to be incapacitated via unknown means.² When an individual wears SCP-4021, it has the effects of a typical gas mask of its make and model, plus the wearer can make out anything said by anyone in range of SCP-4021's secondary effect; however, this only occurs if the speaker speaks at a volume lower than the emitted sound of SCP-4021 as clearly as if the speaker was talking normally, directly to them, without the emitted sound present. Subject shows no discomfort or pain despite the sound emitting directly from the mask. However, if anyone in range of SCP-4021 speaks louder than the sound emitted from SCP-4021, the wearer will become increasingly agitated depending on how loud the speaker is talking, and for how long they stay loud, to the point that the wearer will attempt to [DATA EXPUNGED].
