NOTICE FROM THE FOUNDATION RECORDS AND INFORMATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION

The document in its entirety has been left with only rewritten text, and the passages that have been updated have not been removed to catalog out understanding of the nature of SCP-XXX, as well as instance XXXX-1.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept under strict surveillance of a minimum of 2 researchers posted at Area 124's (Dimensional and Provisional Containment Area-124) Orbiting Satellite and Research Habitat at all times. Due to its size and nature, no physical from of containment is necessary.

Data revised in light of current events and the reconstruction of Dimensional and Provisional Containment Area 124 and construction of Armed Dimensional Human Containment Area 78.

It is critical that any incident of similar nature to that which happened to Dr. Demashqieh and caused the creation of SCP-XXXX-1 not happen again (See Incident Log XXXX-01). To prevent the repetition of such an event, and deal with the fallout of this one, as of 00/00/0000, Area 124 has been restructured to be better able to contain and monitor SCP-XXXX. In addition, Armed Dimensional Humanoid Containment Area 78 has been built, competed as of 00/00/00, designed and constructed in order to protect and contain SCP-XXXX-1, as well as prevent its undesired termination or infliction of self-termination.

Area 124 has been constructed and outfitted following the below listed specifications:

Monitoring Satellite Array

  • Area 12 consists of 8 monitoring and surveillance satellites, designated as Alpha through Theta (α-θ) each on an individual and circular orbit, concentric to each other, each with a 10 km increase in radius from the previous.
  • Each satellite is fitted with 2 (two) Kant counters, 1 (one) Scranton Reality Anchor [set to maintain a constant of: 50 Humes in Satellites α through δ, 35 Humes in Satellites ε and ζ, and 20 Humes in Satellites η and θ] and an autonomous power source, repair system and on-board computer.

Research Habitat “Argus Panoptes”

  • A spaceborne habitat designated Area 12 Research Habitat ‘Argus Panoptes’, lies on a ninth orbit, concentric to the ones of the satellites. It is fitted with the standard equipment necessary to support a 10-man team comprised of;
      1. Two (2) technical engineers, both trained and specialized,
      2. six (6) researchers, all with XXXX clearance,
      3. one (1) Head Researcher (currently Dr. Serghoiro),
      4. one (1) psychologist (by request of Dr. Callatena, made as a request upon returning to Earth after his second sojourn on the ‘Argus’, approved by O5-9)
  • The crew’s sojourns last no longer than in spans of five years. Engineers, researchers and psychologists are sent for one term. Head Researchers are sent for two terms, with a six-month period in between spent on Earth. Researchers have the choice to perform up to three terms with no less than six-month periods spent on Earth in between each term.
  • Every member of the crew is to undergo a bimonthly evaluation which is to be submitted to personnel back on Earth. In the case of a crew member displaying behavior outside of the norm, they are to be quarantined for a period of two weeks on board the ‘Argus’.

Area 78 has been constructed and outfitted following the below listed specifications:

Description: SCP-XXXX is an area of space located at 03h19m54.59s, +41°28'30.4", observed to measure approximately 30-50 km across, near the NGC 1275 (Perseus A) galaxy, in the Perseus Cluster.

SCP-XXXX does not emit nor attract any sort of energy, that we know of. It is, as of 00/00/0000, theorized to be an area of what has been dubbed a pocket of "Anti-Reality," or "Non-Reality." In accordance to what has been collected on the subject and it's immediate surroundings, the area designated as SCP-XXXX is as of 00/00/0000, stable, with little to no meaningful fluctuations.

However, due to the threat that it possesses to reality, it has been assigned a level 4 clearance.
