Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX Is to be kept in a standard storage unit at Site-64. Bi-weekly, one or more subjects under the age of 12 are to enter SCP-XXXX and engage in contact with its inhabitants for no less than one hour. If SCP-XXXX is not given subjects at least bi-weekly and for the minimum amount of time, SCP-XXXX will have a feeling of dysphoria emanating from it. This effect grows stronger and spreads farther the longer the needs of SCP-XXXX go unsatisfied, effecting the emotions and general temperament staff members and even other SCP in a negative manner, along with leaving them with the feeling that they are missing something.
Once the inhabitants of SCP-XXXX have had a subject enter, are satisfied with their interaction, and have given the subject an instance of SCP-XXXX-3, the subject(s) who entered the object is to exit and undergo a short and concise interview process. After their interview, the subject is to be amnesticized and sent back to their place of residence.
Description: SCP-XXXX is small wooden toy chest which is 0.6 meters long and deep, and 1.2 meters long and is designed to look like a pirates treasure chest. If observed and/or opened by a subject 12 years of age or older, SCP-XXXX will appear to possess no anomalous properties. However, if opened by a subject under the age of 12, the floor of SCP-XXXX will seemingly cease to exist, revealing a ladder on the front side of SCP-XXXX which extends 6 meters down into a stunningly large open area that, while differing from subject to subject, always includes a town or kingdom known by SCP-XXXX-2 as the Kingdom of Phluff as the central component of the area.
Based on interviews with each subject to enter SCP-XXXX, its town or kingdom has been observed to be inhabited by a number of sentient, animate stuffed animals varying from 3 to 300 known collectively as SCP-XXXX-1. Each individual member of SCP-XXXX-1 has also shown, by means of telepathic communication with subjects, to have their own individual thoughts, opinions, and personalities, which - along with their species, materials, and composition - vary greatly between subjects. The only inhabitant of SCP-XXXX that stays exactly the same with every recorded subject to enter SCP-XXXX is a small, blue elephant, known as SCP-XXXX-2, with tag bearing the name "Mr Poofington" attached with string around its neck. SCP-XXXX-2 is recognized by SCP-XXXX-2 as the leader or king of the community within SCP-XXXX.
When a subject under the age of 12 enters the area inside SCP-XXXX, they must initiate interactions with the inhabitants of SCP-XXXX to be noticed at all. Once verbal contact has been made between the subject and one of the inhabitants, the subject will be welcomed
and hereby known as SCP-XXXX-A through SCP-XXXX-38, all of which have been reported to be sentient and fully aware of their surroundings. The entities range in size, shape, color and species from green elephants the size of a soda can, to chartreuse penguins the size of an average adult human.

SCP-XXXX-1 refers to a group of fully sentient, animate stuffed animals which inhabit SCP-XXXX. The number, species, materials, and general personalities of each individual member of SCP-XXXX-1 vary between subjects that enter SCP-XXXX., but there overall temperament is always calm and good-natured. So far the number of members that are part of SCP-XXXX-1 have ranged from 5 to approximately 300, while the species and materials have ranged from small straw parrots to gigantic cotton kangaroos.
Members of SCP-XXXX-1 have been shown to exhibit, through use of telepathic means or otherwise, the ability to communicate with subjects despite the absence of any physical way of speech, as they have shown to neither have mouths nor any internal system for use of diction. Regardless of this, subjects have reported being able to discern what members of SCP-XXXX-1 are communicating with ease; not missing or misunderstanding any single word. However, subjects have also explained that members of SCP-XXXX-1 appear to speak vocally and not in the mind of subjects.
SCP-XXXX-2 is a small blue elephant with a tag bearing the name "Mr Poofington" attached with string around its neck. SCP-XXXX-2 also resides in SCP-XXXX and is recognized by the members of SCP-XXXX-1 as the leader or king of their community and is, in most cases, the first inhabitant of SCP-XXXX to welcome subjects to the community inside SCP-XXXX. While the members of SCP-XXXX-1 change with each subject, SCP-XXXX-2 is always the same.
