Item: SCP-####
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-#### is considered safe and is therefore stored in a standard storage locker at site 17, with no access restrictions required.
Description: SCP-#### is a blank white book, possibly of Japanese origin (see footnotes #1), lacking a cover and authors or illustrators listed. It is made of simple paper protected by a hardcover, with measurements of 8in by 10in (20.32cm by 25.4cm, a size of which made to appeal more to a child), and weighs about 5.6 to 12 ounces depending on the number of pages. Because of the unusual nature of SCP-####, measurement of weight is inconsistent.
Update:
4/23/2011
During a experiment regarding the collaboration of SCP-#### and a group of people in the 20-25 age group, SCP-#### had generated a story based on the history on Harvard Law School, with the recorded number of pages being 44, which is now the currently known maximum amount of pages SCP-#### can generate. Still, further testing may show otherwise.
Progress through testing of SCP-#### have revealed that the book is rather indestructible, as any damage done to SCP-#### such as small tears, ripped out pages, and etc, SCP-#### will repair its self with the new story it generates. It can also fix its self of folded pages and vandalism made with any kind of writing tools; such as pens, pencil, colored pencil, sharpie, and etc.
Despite SCP-#### having several policies as to what stories it can generate, any interest regarding other SCP's have an exception from this policy. However, depending on a SCP's object class and overall nature, SCP-#### will censor anything regarding these factors, leaving some SCPs to have major or no censorship at all within SCP-#### (see Addendum 1a).
Recovery Log: SCP-#### was recovered on the 15th of July, 1998, from Long Beach in Los Angeles, CA. The original owner of SCP-####, Arthur Thornton , a author well known author within his community, died (from old age) two weeks before the recovery of SCP-####. Following his death, his son soon received possession of his father's belongings. Upon discovering SCP-#### and its anomalous properties, the individual (Micheal Thornton) was initially reluctant to give up SCP-####, believing it to be harmless and stating the fact that it was now apart of his ownership. However, due several doubts from both his wife and himself regarding SCP-####, the individual later turned in the book into the hands of the LAPD. A foundation agent embedded within the LAPD, reported the acknowledgement of SCP-#### to the foundation, and soon enough, the foundation took ownership of SCP-####, where it was later moved to site 17.1
Addendum 1a: During testing of the collaboration of SCP-#### and Dr Adam Burke, SCP-#### generated a story based on SCP-███ (the current SCP Dr Adam Burke is in charge of). However, because the end result was heavily censored, the story only included SCP-███'s discovery, parts of it's description & special containment procedures, and a few footnotes.
Document#(scp number here)-1a I would like to remind all staff that just because we have a book that can constantly make stories for you doesn't mean you can sit around reading all afternoon. And besides, its a literal children's book, its not like your improving your reading skill in anyway. If continued abuse of the book continues, I may be forced to implement a suspension system for people abusing the book. And hey, if you do get suspended, why not read some actual adult books.

Document #(scp number here)-1b: For curiosity's sake, and to, perhaps get a better idea of the characteristics/mindset of certain SCP's, I have compiled a list of classic children's stories & topics SCP-#### had generated within the book when interacted by other sentient SCP's.
