Special Containment Procedures: Foundation webcrawlers are to constantly ensure that any image related to SCP-1055-J is the non-anomalous version (known as SCP-1055-J-X). In case the anomalous version is found, a extensive search is to be made in order to look for it's origins and Amnestics Class-A are to be displayed to every affected personnel.
SCP-1055-J is to be contained in a terminal without internet connection at Site 15. No usage of the terminal SCP-1055-J is included is to be allowed without direct orders from Site Director. Two armed guards are stationed in the room SCP-1055-J is included.

Description: SCP-1055-J takes the form of a internet comic (also refered as webcomic) published in mid 2000's by the webcomic artist CTRL+ALT+DEL. Is a four-panel comic following a 2x2 pattern. (See image attached, SCP-1055-J-X).
Any individual who views SCP-1055-J is referred as SCP-1055-J-A and undergo a serie of stages that periodically detriment the individual's mental health. (See Addendum).
SCP-1005-J was found after inumerous reports of affected individuals acting in different manners and various reports of strange cases of suicide came to Foundation agents atention. Agents were able to reach down to the original source of such anomalies. (See Addendum-1055-J-3 for more information).

Addendum-1055-J-1: The mental effects of SCP-1055-J in a individual are displained in 4 stages:

Stage 1: Occurs two days after first contact with SCP-1055-J. Subject will spent more of it's free time using online forums, such as Reddit or 4chan. Specifically, the subject will browse pages related to 'memes' and online comics.

Stage 2: After two months, where the subject finds itself spending more and more time in forum platforms, going to the point of affecting it's work performance and social activities, the subject will start to perceive ever four-panel comic as a mockery of SCP-1055-J, and a urge to write comment (if such action is possible) stating "Is this loss?".

Stage 3: After six months, subject will refuse social activities and others in order to spend more time in online forums, even leading to cases of sub-nutrition and/or other health problems where it's body needs have been ignored. Removal of all the means of connection from subject (smartphones, computer or any other device with internet connection that allows to browse) lead to extreme distress by the subject, ending in extreme organ failure after a period of 24-hours, and leading to death. Subject will now perceive every image or text found online as a mockery of SCP-1055-J, coming to the point where even any information outside is also perceived in the same way.

Stage 4: After one year (if the subject hasn't already passed away from health problems), all subjects will perform suicide by any possible means. Some tested subjects even passed away by simply shutting down their body functions, when there were no means of performing suicide. Subjects that achieve stage four will always write next to themselves (in any possible mean, even coming to the point of using bodily fluids) the sentence "This is loss". Mortality taxes in this stage are 100%.

Addendum-1055-J-2: Administrating strong amnestics to affected subjects in a early stage may lead to a removal of any anomalous effects on the subject.

Addendum-1055-J-3: The non-anomalous version, SCP-1055-J-X, was specially made by a Foundation hired digital artist in a effort to contain the spreading of SCP-1005-J. The cost of containing and removing the original comic from Internet after the huge growth in popularity was much higher than the cost for replacing the anomalous version. The only difference between the two versions is the existance of a wristwatch in a character's left arm in the second panel, being the one that presents the wristwatch SCP-1055-J-X.
