Item #: SCP-4115

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4115 is located at site 17-A, in a standard containment cell with the dimensions 10-meters-by-10-meters-by-10-meters. SCP-4115 is to be kept under surveillance at all times by at least two doctors and at least six armed personnel, each of which must remain outside of the cell, in case of radiation leakage. In the event of a said leak, Site 17-A is to be temporally evacuated until cleaning of SCP-4115’s cell is completed by an advanced task-force. Although, regardless of a leak or not, it is to be cleaned tri-weekly under standard cleaning procedures. Cleaning personnel must be D-Class wearing radiation suits in case of breach and must be accompanied by armed personnel double to the amount of D-Class. If an object emerges from SCP-4115, it is to be checked for radiation. If found clean, said the object is to be studied in and kept in site 17-A. In case the object does have dangerous radiation, D-Class personnel is to be sent into SCP-4115’s cell, return said object to SCP-4115, and is to be remotely terminated. The site is then to act as if it had a radiation leak. SCP-4115-A is to be kept in a containment freezer, to ensure it’s longevity, and SCP-4115-B is to be kept in a standard holding cell and is free to roam Site-17-A and engage with onsite personnel. It is to be fed three times a day and should see a therapist at least twice a week. It’s cell should also cleaned bi-weekly.

Description: SCP-4115 appears to be a two-dimensional multi-colored rift across different realities. It floats approximately 1.4 meters above the ground, has a width of 2.6 meters, and a length of 5.4 meters. The object appears to be two-dimensional, but regardless of the viewer’s location, it always appears to be facing towards the viewer, similar to a black-hole. The rift is normally a translucent blue, but shifts to an orange/red color, (losing it’s translucency temporarily) exactly three seconds before an object falls from SCP-4115. It keeps it’s color for another three seconds after said object falls, before turning back to it’s translucent blue. Said objects are to either be thrown back into SCP-4115 or to be labeled as SCP-4115-(letter after previous items assigned a number). Since SCP-4115 was discovered, exactly two items have fallen from SCP-4115, three of which have been kept in captivity (see Addendums: SCP-4115-A and SCP-4115-B for further details.) Oddly, it appeared only a few kilometers away from Site-17 but was located at a place that would have been impossible for Site-17 personal to ignore. This suggests that SCP-4115 seemingly just, appeared.

It came into foundation custody on December 14th, 2016 when SCP-████ described an anomalous object that the foundation did not have in custody, and due to ████’s nature to guess anomalous properties in foundation custody, thus an investigation was begun. This also proved that SCP-████ is able to █████ ██████████ ███████████.

Incident: SCP-4115-1: On December 16th, 2016 while constructing Site-17-A around SCP-4115, SCP-4115 changed in color, and released ███████████, killing all personnel within the immediate vicinity instantly. Clean up crews were sent, yet ███████████ had completely evaporated, even though that is not within the realm of possibility in our reality. It was then proposed by Doctor Stewarts that it was entirely possible that it was an extra-dimensional portal1 . After construction, three more instances of ███████████ being released occurred the same day, along with serious amounts of unknown lethal radiation. Special containment procedures were enacted in case SCP-4115 releases some other kind of lethal foreign substance.

Addendum SCP-4115-A: On December 23rd, 2016, SCP-4115 changed color once more, and released what appeared to be an alternate dimension version of SCP-682, except it was completely deceased. After the object was deemed “safe”, it was to be examined immediately. The corpse did not appear to have any wound or markings of any kind of injury and was believed to have died of natural causes. That was until the object, now labeled SCP-4115-A, was found to have a note written in unknown scribbles inside the hollowed out the corpse. Linguistic experts were asked to translate the s cripples, but they were inconclusive in their findings. SCP-4115-A is to be kept in a standard containment cell and is to be experimented on, in hopes of finding a way of terminating our own SCP-682.

Addendum SCP-4115-B: On January 30th, 2018, a humanoid figure, appearing to be a caucasian human male, with brunette hair, blue eyes and 2.3 meter in height emerged from SCP-4115. Upon being marked “safe”, he was sent for standard testing and questioning procedures. Investigation lead personnel to conclude that the object was entirely a human male and communication was attempted, however, the object appeared to speak no known language. It was found later though, that the object could read and write in standard English.2 After several months, the object learned almost the entirety of the English language and spoke it perfectly fine. The object was given the label SCP-4115-B and was asked several questions about the universe from which it originated, and the journey through SCP-4115. [[Footnote]]See interview SCP-4115-B-1 for further details. [[/Footnote]] After the said interview, it was determined that SCP-4115-B originated from a universe where the foundation did not exist, but the anomalous objects it contained were. When asked how SCP-4115-B's home dimension dealt with hostile anomalous objects, SCP-4115-B informed that “Laws usually kept everyone in line.”

Interviewed: [SCP-4115-B]

Interviewer: [Doctor Stewarts]

Foreword: [Interview was held at Site 17-A, in a standard containment cell, with two chairs opposite to each other and a table separating them. SCP-4115-B and Doctor Stewarts both sat at a respective chair, with an armed guard located a meter behind Doctor Steward]

Doctor Stewart: [SCP-4115-B, what can you tell us about where you're from?]

SCP-4115-B: [Well, the dimension I'm from isn’t just a prison.

Doctor Stewart: [SCP-4115-B, there is no nee-]

SCP-4115-B: [My name is Mark! I'm not an ABC, or whatever you're calling me!

Doctor Stewart: [Okay, Mark. Just calm down. Tell me the last thing you remember.]

SCP-4115-B: [Fine, fine. I was on vacation, and I went to go see some tourist attractions, the basics, you know: Mt Rushmore, Rocky Mountains, I even bought went to a book signing, met my favorite author, Rosie Well. Nice guy.]
Doctor Stewart: [Rosie Well?]

SCP-4115-B: [Oh, sorry, I forgot I wasn't in my dimension. Late in the nineteen-fifties, maybe forties, there was this little alien guy that crashed in Roswell, New Mexico. At first, they kept him in some place, something-fifty-something, but that was ruled inhumane and they released him to the world. Naturally, the majority of people were interested by an alien, and he just started writing science fiction and fantasy novels, and they're pretty good.]
Doctor Stewart: [What part of his containment was marked ‘inhumane’?]

SCP-4115-B: [Well it wasn't really his containment, it was all of them. There are so many things hidden back home like there's this guy who has super long arms, and he's just super lanky, Jackson ██████. He's extremely self-conscious about his appearance. I can't remember if he actually killed anyone, but people used to make fun of him, and he would seriously injure them. After he was sent to prison and given self-love and self-control classes, he was released and now he has a talk show. He encourages mental help, self-care, and so on. But until the fifties, he was locked up in some fortress, like this, where all they did was run tests and try to kill him and whatever. But they weren't alone, there were literally thousands of creatures in situations just like that. Eventually, people found out and started rights programs and shit. I really wish they had those types of laws here.]
Doctor Stewart: [But, how are anomalous objects controlled?]

SCP-4115-B: [Laws usually kept everyone in line. Other items were killed, especially the ones that were either too dangerous or weren't capable of adapting to human culture were wiped out due to their endangerment of the human species. Besides, they're not really “anomalous” if there's more of them then there are us, right?]
Doctor Stewart: [Sure. Anyway, how did you come into contact with SCP-4115?]

SCP-4115-B: [Well, I had just gotten back home to Orboris, and I was walking along my house when I heard a sound, like a zipper, next thing I knew I saw orange, and here I am.]
Doctor Stewart: [Excuse me.]
Doctor Stewart leaves for a moment, then returns with a globe of the planet Earth.
Doctor Stewart: [Can you inform me of roughly were this ‘Orboris’ is?]

SCP-4115-B: [Uhhh, it's not on Earth. Heh, everyone kn-oh, right. Everyone, where I'm from, knows that Earth is just a tourist attraction now. After those right activists got their way, the governments had a huge amount of money left, an-]

Doctor Stewart: [We're done here.]
