Description: SCP-9§§8 is a violin with a colour of light brown and a bow namely SCP-9§§8-A and SCP-9§§8-B, the bridge of the violin seems have columns directed from each string . . Believed to be made at mid [DATA EXPUNGED], created by [REDACTED], and the wood used is unknown. Discovered at a house in the woods at Black Forest, Germany where the locals said that you can get deaf playing the violin and die. Soon as the info spread, the foundation take action containing the scp.

When played by a player, it will continue play it, with techniques seem impossible for humans, for extended periods of time until they die of exhaustion with the exception of people with Marfan syndrome, they can stop playing the violin if they want too. The sounds are audible to anyone and anyone hears it, even in recordings, will cause hearing loss and also die except for the player.
If “humanoid” entity we’re to play it, they will get destroyed, die, and any form of damage that can kill/destroy the player.

{Addendum three}: SCP-9§§8 was proven indestructible even the strings, proven by testing by submerging it at a pool of strong acids, dropping it at a very high height, the use of hydraulic press, and heating it at very very high temp. It survived with no single damage
and the bow hair, also the bow doesn’t require rosin to play.
{Addendum four}: SCP-9§§8 Changed color darker shade of brown after it was poured denatured alcohol, it was playable to any people under 8hours and stops creating cracks for 5 hours, then change its color to lighter shade of brown.
Containment procedure is changed to use denatured alcohol every five hours to minimized cracks.

A personnel put the violin and the bow next to scp-§96, upon contact, scp-§96 immediately enters into rage state and attempting to destroy the scp with no avail, not a single scratch. Lasted for four hours and scp-§96 is back to its docile state facing at the eastern wall.

{Addendum 7}: scp-9§§8 played the piece on scp-zero,twelve by a personnel with Marfan syndrome at the containment chamber. The result were, the containment chamber is severely damaged with unknown viscous fluid similar of that scp-§§§ (possessive mask), in the radius of 100m, cracks occurred and the area has to be evacuated for repairs.
{Addendum 8}: Scp-9§§8’s sound-post removed by an authorized personnel , denatured alcohol is applied before the procedure, resulting to the violin and bow to go pale by minutes, then it was played but the sounds are getting lower and lower then It there’s no more. The personnel puts back the sound-post but it’s anomalous effect is gone.
Reclassified as neutralized but the sound-post is now called SCP-9§§8-J and the violin and the bow remained pale and kept to a locker.

Revival of scp-9§§8:
Scp-9§§8-J is put to a violin similar to previous one, the bow is adjacent to the violin. After Scp-9§§8-J is applied, the room quickly experienced an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.
The room is being repaired and the violin with scp-9§§8-J is now called SCP-9§§8-!. The bow and the violin have the exact same anomalous effect as SCP-9§§8.
