Object Class: Safe Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4388, because of it's properties can not be as of this time contained. There is perimeter spanning the subject of a 4km (kilometer) radius to prevent external contact.

Description: SCP-4388 is a small circle of sand spanning 10ft (feet) across. It's only currently known instance is on a small spit of sand off the coast of [DATA EXPUNGED]. The circle appears to be drawn in the wet sand by an object no different than a stick. The sand is no different in matter than sand typically is, however will not remain in place if moved. The sand is capable of moving itself back into the circle shape it started, even when submerged completely in water. This motion can not happen when under surveillance of any kind. This includes but is not limited to direct human contact, video recording devices, etc. The object does not appear move based on a time schedule. The object should not come in contact with human beings. (Read Addendum)

Addendum: Test A - 1/11/2002

Subject: Contact Test A
Procedure: A Class D subject was ordered to approach and touch the edge of the circle. They were wearing a standard containment Class D jumpsuit.
Results: The Class D did as instructed making a small hand print in the circle, no anomalous properties were shown. The hand print disappeared when Dr. ██████ instructed all onsite staff to briefly place their attention away from the object.
Analysis: The object does not appear to react to human life. Further testing is required to ensure SCP-4388 is "Safe".

Addendum:Test B - 1/15/2002

Subject: Contact Test B
Procedure: A Class D subject was ordered to approach and stand in the center of the circle. They were wearing a standard containment Class D jumpsuit.
Results: Subject did as instructed. The moment he stepped into the middle of the circle, sand was blown into the air and everywhere in a sudden, violent motion. In the panic of the event, The Class D's body was [DATA EXPUNGED], causing multiple violent twists and turns creating audible snapping sounds of the Class D's skeletal structure.
Analysis: After test B all staff are instructed to stand at least 15ft (feet) from SCP-4388 at all times. The body of the Class D involved in the incident, (now Class E) has been shipped to Site-81 for further research.
