Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: Room size: 5 by 5 meters. Chamber door made of thick lead framed with steel alloy. Chamber door size: Standard door size, with 6 steel locks. Lighting: LED bulbs surrounded by polypropylene glass. Viewing port: Made from polypropylene glass panels. Check for breaches or anomalies in 15.24 centimeter thick lead layered walls surounded by concrete walls, weekly. Do NOT leave chamber door open, KEEP LIGHTS ON 24/7!
Site of Chamber: Chamber 127. Moscow SCP Research Facility.

Description: SCP discovery location: 16 miles from Chernobyl, Russia. Post Chernobyl incident; April 26, 1986. Date of SCP discovery: August 13, 2001. Capture method: douse in water, then immediately shock with any electrical device, such as a taser, then contain in a carbon fiber enclosed cage.
Appearance: Black, emits small clouds of endless amounts of what seems to be ashes, from body, which deteriorate shortly after emitting, glowing white pupils, humanoid figure that occasionally grows extra appendages, ONLY EATS RADIATED ORGANIC MATERIAL.

Addendum: DO NOT LET SCP INTERACT WITH ANY LIVING CREATURES OR NON-RADIATED ORGANIC MATERIAL! Interaction will result in the SCP phasing through solid objects, the emitting of clouds of smoke and ashes, and rapid deteriorating of any material that comes into contact with SCP with the exception of lead, polypropylene glass, carbon fiber, and concrete. These interactions seem to be caused by the hunting nature of the SCP in order to catch its prey or escape.
Latest interaction: Conducted by Jeremy H. Woodshaw. Tested by Birnstyof D. Narcou.
Witnesses: Dr. Blocraud G. Valmont, and Dr. Scott C. Peterson.
Interaction goal: Conduct research by placing non-radiated organism (living cat) with SCP. Result: Birnstyof D. Narcou and the non-radiated organism deceased during interaction. His suit had a 5 centimeter tear, which the SCP used to seep in through and eat away at the researchers body, causing rapid deterioration of skin, tissue, muscle, organs, and bones. The researcher, the non-radiated organism, and the upper half the researchers suit, were reported to have black, liquid like substance in the cuts and what seems to be biting marks. DO NOT TURN OFF LIGHTS IN SCP CONTAINMENT ROOM!
This action will result in the SCP attempting to phase through walls, causing exterior damage and the warping of walls. If this action recurs, IMMEDIATELY TURN THE EMERGENCY LIGHT SWITCH ON! Dr. Scott C. Peterson conducted research claiming that the darkness makes the SCP think it is night, which is what time Dr. Peterson believes is the time the SCP hunts in the wild. SCP is more active, aggressive, and has even shown signs of human-like behavior, such as intelligence and curiosity, when lights are not present.
