Special containment procedures: SCP-? Is contained in a bunker underneath facility ██████ in ████████, █████, Canada. SCP-? Must be kept sticking out of a Birchwood log on an Onyx and Ivory Pedestal in a Hexagonal room made of 100 cm thick DuraSteel in every direction reinforced behind by twenty-four feet of concrete. The floors must be covered with a red velvet carpet and with six silver and gold inlayed patterns of different predatory animals chasing each other’s tails in a circle around the Pedestal (A Wolf, Bear, Tiger, Lion, Eagle, and a Crocodile). The walls must also be decorated with Birchwood planks and adorned with taxidermy animal heads of the six aforementioned animals. The ceiling must also be made of planked Birchwood with seven singular lights that shed dim light over the Pedestal and the six animals on the floor. On the far back wall behind the pedestal must sit a fireplace with Birchwood logs within unlit. The bunker must be locked by six doors each with six locks that must be individually unlocked every time someone enters the bunker. The doors must be made of high intensity DuraSteel and be 20 centimeters thick each. These specifications are necessary for keeping SCP-? In the bunker as per its request to and quote ‘Make his prison a home’.
Although it has become apparent SCP-? Does not need to be watched as only it’s ‘Chosen’ can wield it; the bunker must be guarded by a rotation of Seven of the best of our task forces in rotations of three within the area of SCP-? Bunker. One must be on the camera detail watching the room of SCP-? and as well all hallways in the facility, another must be guarding in front of the first door entering the bunker at all times, and the final must patrol the halls surrounding the bunker but never leaving the strict perimeter around SCP-?. The three on duty must stay in radio contact at all times having radio silence for no longer than two minutes and rotate duties every hour to not get bored or too tired. The watch lasts twelve hours before being relieved by three of the four that were not present, while the other that does not relieve the three has the day off. All of these soldiers are to be outfitted with whatever they desire (within reason) to best guard SCP-? To the best of their abilities. All guards must also carry a pen and a notebook on them at all times (see below) and be deposited with on duty research before departure of shift.
Description: SCP-? Is a sentient anomalous item, which under study has concluded it may be the foundations final hope in the event of a XK class scenario. Although some skeptics believe it will never be used to aide in preventing such scenarios because of its nature of having to be wielded by it’s pre determined ‘chosen’.
SCP-? Is a knife with a silver blade that curves slightly that makes a blade 13 inches in length and 2.54 cm thick. The hilt is made of ivory and inlayed gold with a small Humans head made of gold on the pommel. The pommel has an interesting quality if viewed directly and then looked away from and back to will change its facial expression. But it has been confirmed its ‘voice’ does not come from the head.
SCP-? Has the voice of a deep-toned graveled voice of a Texan to any english speaking personnel and gruff versions of other languages to our multi lingual personnel, it also has the personality of an intelligent Hunter coming off as either Shocking, Insane, inspiring or giving a sense of Catharsis after it speaks, not shocking as to what its interests are especially with the vivid detail it goes into about hunts. SCP-? Is completely capable to have intelligent conversations with but is known to be both cryptic and boisterous. SCP-? Loves talking about hunting and will discuss for hours and hours about the stalking of it’s prey all the way to the skinning of the animal in gruesome detail.
The only thing SCP-? Loves talking about more than hunting is the chosen hunter and SCP-? Philosophy. Its philosophy is struggle and trial through ordeal SCP-? Believes that the power of man is to fight tooth and claw against the dark to simply glimpse at the light which it views as a worthy and honorable goal. Interestingly enough SCP-? believes there is a destined man who will come to finally wield him a hunter of beasts and hero of men who will sacrifice himself by stabbing himself in the heart with SCP-? To take on the role of the hunter to hunt the beasts of his and SCP-? dreams. To quote ‘become like the demi gods of old’.
Very interestingly one day during a talk with SCP-? He has mentioned the knowledge of many other SCPS, and the urge to want to and quote ‘Rid my hunting grounds of these vile creatures so I can add them to the pile’. He has shown extensive knowledge of the physiology, dangers and weaknesses of specific SCPS. He is noted being particularly interested in SCP-682 saying and quote ‘it would be a hunt to remember’. Also, SCP-? Has shown interest in SCP-096, SCP-173, SCP-106, SCP-966, SCP-783, SCP-2141, SCP-1013 and many more monster like Euclid/Keter class SCPS. Also it has shown interest in other Blade like SCPS like SCP-2200 stating and quote ‘Ah you found the quiet one how is his eutopia doing?’ and noted distain for SCP-2067 saying and quote ‘what they did to her was disgusting, reforming perfection is a sin, she was meant to be so much more than a lap dog’ which was followed by cursing in several different languages for approximately twenty minutes which lead to the end of the examination at the time. SCP-? Has also shown interest in other sentient SCPS that ere on the biblical side i.e. SCP-343, SCP 073 and SCP 076 being the most notable.
Abilities: at the current moment the full extent of SCP-? Is undetermined without the knowledge of what would happen in the hands of his ‘Chosen Hunter’, However in it’s current state it has shown extensive knowledge of different Keter/Euclid SCPS and shown tremendous power to those who have viewed it with reports from on site staff ranging from a feeling of fear to a feeling of euphoric catharsis or Hope. I myself have felt a hopefulness in direct view of SCP-?.
Also, of note each of our respected-on duty guards have had a conversation on multiple occasions with SCP-? While they were guarding in front of the first locked door in their minds. They have noted SCP-? To be prying into their memories of past experiences and to ask questions of times in the field ranging from conversations about hunting which it is famous for starting, to how did x make you feel to and what did you think of x or even asking for their views of moments before a firefight began, seemingly trying to get their view on their own pasts. This has been deciphered by our team here to be an attempt at finding it’s ‘Chosen Hunter’. Which the team has concluded is safe to the individuals it happens to and are pushed by senior staff to answer its questions then log the entire conversation immediately for further review, Also so the guard at the door needs not leave their post a pen and notebook must be on their person at all times so they can record their conversations to then hand to on site research.
Another notable ability is what we call the ‘touch test’, where anyone permitted in the room is allowed to approach SCP-? To see if they can reach the handle with their hands. Everyone has failed at this point in time barely even able to lift their arm by the force present and not being able to come close to touching the handle of the Knife assumingly making them unworthy to SCP-?.
And finally, it’s most interesting ability is its ability to teleport which we have satiated by fulfilling it’s demands in it’s bunker thus keeping it in place. It first appeared to us a few months ago asking for conversation right in front of the Director of the facilities office before being found by janitorial staff on ██/██/████, and it became apparent if we were to keep SCP-? To remain here we must satiate its want for conversation, its want for a comfortable domicile and its want to find its ‘Chosen Hunter’ which we have perceived at this time to be an unknowable end till occurrence.
Final notes and thoughts: however innocent and perceivingly righteous SCP-? Is, I am worried about its end goal and ultimate purpose which it has said countless times is to hunt. What does this hunt entail is it the hunt of dangerous monsters like the SCPS or does it have credence to every piece of life including animals and humans? Every time confronted with this question SCP-? Simply says and quote ‘that is not for him to say’.
Also, of note the ritual to merge the ‘Chosen Hunter’ and SCP-? requires the ‘chosen’ to stab SCP-? Through his heart effectively killing himself to an unknown end. Granted SCP-? Has been honest to this regard but it is still worrisome and filled with possibility both good and bad for the foundation.
Another note is its interest with biblical SCPS, no known connection with this knife and any other biblical text is prevalent in any written mythos or history. Further more its connection with SCP-2200 and SCP-2067 should be looked into for as it stands all are bladed weapons from an unknown source with a seeming connection to each other with SCP-? Calling SCP-2200 ‘the quiet one’ which may imply at least to myself that there are others out there especially with his outright rage to SCP-2067 at its saying and quote ‘Sinful Reforming’.
Also, I have received an encrypted message from the facility housing SCP-049 that details that SCP-049 knows of our acquiring of SCP-? Seemingly stirring SCP-049 from its un-talkative state stating and quote from audio log ‘Ah so you found the hunter (pause) good, very good. Perhaps your foundation is not utterly useless after all, I may need to focus on my cure a little harder now, how interesting’ this has been seen to be caused by our containment of SCP-? Do to no known other SCPS captured and contained in that allotted time. Which sparks many questions that I will ask SCP-? In form of audio logs and add to the end of this document.
There is also the concern of task forces like the Chaos Insurgency and Global Occult Coalition taking interest in SCP-? And thus, makes it a high priority hazard making utmost secrecy of its whereabouts a priority for containment. Thus, any more personnel we add to this SCP should go under scrutinous background checks and show unwavering loyalty to the SCP Foundation.
Now with all that said one note to why I see SCP-? As a Thaumiel class and also mark as safe are as follows. SCP-? Self contains itself as long as it is satiated and as long as it gets ample conversation and at least one new person per week to converse with it remains satiated (note: these personnel do not need to know of SCP-? Existence or what SCP-? Is to be a security risk, for SCP-? Does not outwardly tell people what it is simply asking questions to those around him or regaling them with stories of hunts making it a non risk in that regard. However regarding its Thaumiel classing is the fact of the unknown power behind the blade in the hands of a ‘Chosen Hunter’ as well as the fact it can detail strengths and weaknesses of monster like Euclid and Keter SCPS to great detail and methods it would use to kill them, That said however when approached about SCP-682, SCP-? said ‘sorry friend no answer right now on that thing but when my Chosen Hunter wields me I am sure we can take it, just got to think about it, give me some time for thought I’m sure I’ll think of something, but what I can assure you is it will be a hunt to remember’.

Dr. Clayton: Hello its good to see you again, I have gotten a few thoughts on our previous conversations regarding different SCPS that you either claim are monsters, points of interest for yourself or direct kin or connections to yourself. Do you recall?
SCP-?: Ah, you are speaking of my thoughts of the lizard, nothing yet I am afraid but I’ve thought of a few things that may work on my hunt.
Dr. Clayton: Care to elaborate?
SCP-?: No not really, since this will have been my greatest achievement killing a giant unkillable monster, I only wish my Chosen Hunter to know I hope you can understand Doctor from one expert to another, trade secrets and all that as i am sure you well know.
Dr. Clayton: That is quite alright I have more questions anyways, although i wish you would aide the foundation with any knowledge that may be just out of sight. Nevertheless let us continue, What are your thoughts on SCP-343 or ‘God’ as we have come to call him?
SCP-?: He’s a good guy, knew him awhile ago, helped me get unstuck.
Dr. Clayton: Ok Vague as always, a few more questions to that, how and when did you know him? And how did you get stuck then unstuck?
SCP-?: to your first question I am not allowed to say, at least not to you so please do not push the topic, however to your second question it was when I was with my first hunter. We hunted for a long time together on what I like to call the great hunt where we slayed beast upon beast on the ruins of the old world it was truly spectacular, that is until we fell into the hole, but your friend pulled us out after sometime but splitting us in the process causing me to revert back to what I am now and my hunter to head to the after world. I have been this way since with no hunter to guide my blade in sometime.
Dr. Clayton: What was this hole? And who was this first hunter?
SCP-?: The hole is an abyss where no hunt can ever occur you fall and fall and fall and wish you were as lucky as I was. As to your other question She deserves sleep now her hunt has ended I do not wish to recall.
Dr. Clayton: You describe an abyss that made you fall forever care to elaborate or was this just a piece of the old world?
SCP-?: Oh, the Abyss is still out there I came out of it after all I’m sure your foundation will find it eventually, but beware do not enter it or you will be lost forever. I highly doubt ‘God’ will save you. (begins chuckling) As for the Old World just know that its not your current one, it had more monsters and hunts to go on back then, a more interesting time for hunters like myself, a few of those monsters I presume that have even carried over into this world. But why ask about the old world that is history, why not look to the future doctor the future of hunts to come?
Dr. Clayton: I have a few theories that is all. Back to our conversation however I am curious with your connection to SCP-2200 and SCP-2067 the two blades you spoke of knowing in the past. To quote yourself you said 2200 is ‘the quiet one’ and 2067 was the ‘sinful reforming’ I am interested to note if there are any more sentient weaponry like yourselves out there in the world. Care to elaborate?
SCP-?: Ahhhh the Paige at work eh, cataloging for his Royalty.
(SCP-? Takes a pause for roughly ten seconds before speaking up)
SCP-?: You know I really should have not said anything at all in that regard but I’m here already so, Fuck it. Yes, I know those two, yes there are more, no I will not elaborate. And before you ask me why I know this, I was made for a purpose, 2200 was made for a purpose, 2067 was made for a purpose as were the others. Telling you what they are or where they are makes their purpose null and casts it into the wind. like what those men did to 2067 making her a glorified lap dog when she was meant for something far greater. I refuse to put my brothers and sisters in a position not of their own making 2200 and 2067 made their beds, and I just awoke. The others will open their eyes in time or have and are not apparent yet, be patient Doctor we are immortal and take our time very seriously. But judging how widespread your foundation is I am sure they will fall into your grasp at one point or another. How about another topic now Doctor I begin to become impatient.
Dr. Clayton: forgive me for the offense I meant nothing by it, as for another topic something very interesting fell on my desk awhile ago, an audio recording of another contained SCP acknowledging your appearance at this facility when we first found you. This SCP is in a facility leagues away from here and still made a remark of your appearance let me play it back and I would ask you to elaborate for me on why it knows you if you can.

Recorder: Audio log 3457-B Facility (redacted) subject SCP-049 playing back ‘Ah so you found the hunter (pause) good, very good. Perhaps your foundation is not utterly useless after all, I may need to focus on my cure a little harder now, how interesting’ Audio log 3457-B stop.

SCP-?: How do you name him?
Dr. Clayton: His name in the organization is SCP-049, our nickname for him is the plague doctor due to his striking appearance with renaissance medical practitioners of old. Do you know him?
SCP-?: Yes, but by another name. *sigh* Doctor I do not wish to continue any longer let us end here.
Dr. Clayton: Yes absolutely we will pick this up another time then? I apologize for opening any old wounds.
(Dr. Clayton begins shuffling some papers as he prepares to leave SCP-? Containment)
SCP-?: Doctor before you leave know this, if you have captured him you are a step ahead of most and if you are still alive it is a testament to your survival ability as a people. But know this I believe in what goes around comes around and that thing has a lot coming to him. I just hope my chosen appears soon so I can be the one to hunt it.

ADDENDUM: With this new information prevalent I would like to keep my classing of SCP-? Unchanged however I would request the board to never allow SCP-? From finding its chosen hunter as I feel it would go on a rampage of our facilities either killing or being killed and releasing a number of our most dangerous SCPS creating a possible XK class end of the world scenario if not handled correctly. After that conversation i had with SCP-? i have come to the conclusion it does not lie but does with hold truth either by nature or it's personality which is et to be determined. I would also ask the board to looking into other SCPS that SCP-? Is seemingly familiar with especially SCP-343 and SCP-049 due to their seeming connections with SCP-? As well as the continued lookout for more sentient Weaponry like SCP-2200 and SCP-2067 to follow up on connections to this Old World and weapons I theorize may come of it, as well as to start a worldwide search for this abyssal SCP but i consider that secondary to the other new knowledge. There is something important here that can either destroy or enlighten and aide the foundation I can feel it and our next steps should be taken cautiously.
