No friction with air. No effects from energy sources (light???). Don't let go while phasing through a solid! Air is being passed through too…. Releasing the hummingbird pushes air out of the road? How fast? It should also push other matter out of the road. So if you're partway through a wall then would the wall material push outwards too?
