SCP-XXX should be kept in a 20 m × 20 m chamber, 15 m high and made of concrete steel, 3 meters thick surrounded by electric fencing with 10,000 volts, SCP-XXX-1 should be kept in his chamber 10 meters away from SCP-XXX-2, to stop SCP-XXX-1 from trying to break containment to reach SCP-XXX-2, Three MTF Personnel should be stationed outside the chamber of SCP-XXX for 12 hour shifts, with pepper spray, and electrical cow prods powered by 100-Volts.
No personnel other than D-Class should enter SCP-XXX chamber, the D-Class should be armed with pepper spray, a riot shield and to be covered in mud to check the chamber, for any damages or to remove SCP-XXX food waste this should be done weekly.
Description:
SCP-XXX are a 2 m tall and 7 m long trios of unknown avian creatures similar to Phorusrhacidae, there covered from head to tail in black fur with green stripes all across their body, SCP-XXX-1 has a dark gray mane similar to Panthera leo, SCP-XXX have heavily built bodies, with a long neck and a large head equipped with a giant, hooked, beak they have very large bulky legs, which allows them to move at incredible speeds usually, 65 km/h they have long, slender, tails which allows them to turn corners precisely.
While SCP-XXX lacks wings like over Phorusrhacidae they do have 3.9 m spiked, grasping forelegs which appear and act similar to Mantodea, underneath these are another pair of limbs which seem similar to mantodea back legs, while they have no use in combat or hunting it has been seen that these limbs help push, SCP-XXX up If it ever falls over. On top of SCP-XXX head are a pair of feelers which act a lot like a bats echolocation to stop collisions with its surroundings.
On SCP-XXX back are a row of 7.44 inch white spikes, the primary use of these spikes are for defense against any attack from behind, these spikes act a lot like shark teeth as when one breaks off it instantly gets replaced by a new one.
SCP-XXX is able to camouflage into its surroundings, however it has never been recorded for SCP-XXX to use its camouflage, to hunt its prey but instead it uses it to antagonize their prey, either making them more defensive or scared SCP-XXX has been seen to show some enjoyment of their victims reactions.
SCP-XXX-1 has shown to be incredibly durable as it survived being hit by a dump truck, with only a broken rip it's also been seen that SCP-XXX-1 can regenerate as it's broken rip regenerated after 7 days, however depending on the injury depends on how quickly SCP-XXX-1 will regenerate it's theorized, that SCP-XXX-2 can regenerate however this test has been canceled due to provoking SCP-XXX-1 and the other instance of SCP-XXX-2 and possibly causing a containment breach. The only thing which has been seen to deter SCP-XXX is electricity, its unknown why this works and all tests have had the same result of a fearful state.
SCP-XXX has an incredible sense of smell, being able to track a human from 12 miles (19.31 km) away, but has horrible vision and highly depends on this sense of smell to hunt, it's been tested that SCP-XXX is unable to see its target when there covered in mud or have another smell covering their own, its theorised that SCP-XXX hunts by thermal vision like modern snakes do.
SCP-XXX is incredibly intelligent being able to communicate with each other and show compassion to each other, when an instance of SCP-XXX is injured the others, will become very protective of SCP-XXX and will begin to groom and clean the wound until its back to full health. SCP-XXX-1 always leads the trio, usually making hunting plans and appears to be giving each other information by clicking and cooing sounds, however when SCP-XXX-1 is removed SCP-XXX-2 make less noise and appear not to be interested in communicating with each other.
It's been tested that SCP-XXX hunts a lot like Canis lupus, where SCP-XXX-2 will chase down the prey item to an area, where SCP-XXX-1 will spring out and attack the prey item using its forelegs to break the victim's back, before slamming them into the ground.
Discovery:
SCP-XXX was discovered in ████████ inside of an abandoned laboratory, Where SCP-XXX-1 was making a nest out of human body parts, while SCP-XXX-2 protected the area. Once they were able to capture SCP-XXX they recorded the death count to be ██, the area was closed off to public viewing and people were told that the laboratory was under renovations.
Addendum SCP-XXX:
SCP-XXX regeneration has shown to be faster than it normally would, it’s suggested that this may be SCP-XXX adapting into its new surroundings and may be the start of SCP-XXX evolving into a new form.
