Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored within a large anomalous item locker.
During the duration of a “Chiquita Event”, MTF Kappa-10 (“Skynet”) is to monitor all prominent online forums centered around the discussion of Nintendo Entertainment products, particularly of the Donkey Kong franchise. Should any instances of SCP-XXXX-1 manifest, the user that posted it is to be forcibly banned from the site and amnesticized, and the SCP-XXXX-1 instance is to be removed as soon as possible.
Should an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 manifest on any video streaming site, it is to be removed immediately. Civilians that do not upload but still witness an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 do not have to be amnesticized unless they have viewed SCP-XXXX-1 at least twice.
A single recorded instance of SCP-XXXX-1 is currently stored at Site-XX, and may only be accessed by Foundation Personnel with at least Level-2 Clearance. Should the instance be destroyed by any means, it cannot be replaced until the occurrence of another “Chiquita Event”.

For the duration of a "Chiquita Event", MTF Kappa-10 ("Skynet") is to deploy T1K1.aic to monitor all online forums centered around the discussion of Nintendo Entertainment products, particularly of the Donkey Kong franchise, as well as all video streaming sites. Should any instance of SCP-XXXX-1 be found, the user that posted it is to be banned from the site and amnesticized, and the SCP-XXXX-1 instance is to be removed as soon as possible.
MTF Kappa-10 is additionally to configure T1K1.aic to identify all users of such sites who have viewed SCP-XXXX-1 instances more than once; such users are to be amnesticized, but need not be banned unless they have posted an SCP-XXXX-1 instance or begun attempts to do so.
A single recorded instance of SCP-XXXX-1 is currently stored at Site-64, and may only be accessed by personnel with at least Level-2 Clearance who have passed basic memetic resistance training. Additional instances may be collected during a "Chiquita Event" for use in later destructive testing, with the permission of the Site-64 HMCL supervisor.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an amorphous, pale yellow mass of plant tissue, determined to be cytostructurally similar to the berries of genus Musa. As of 12/10/2019, its mass had reached 300 kg. It is anomalously susceptible to invasion by certain strains of wild yeast and bacteria, and does not appear to lose moisture over time.
"Chiquita Event" denotes the active state of SCP-XXXX. No pattern has been discerned in the start times of these events, but their observed duration has always been 1 hour and 9 minutes. During an event, SCP-XXXX will exhibit electrical activity superficially similar to that of a human brain in REM sleep. Meanwhile, it exerts its primary effect, a compulsion to create and post instances of SCP-XXXX-1, on up to 17 humans within a radius equal to SCP-XXXX's mass multiplied by 7.5 km/kg. The mechanism of this effect is presently unknown, but appears not to be electromagnetic in nature, as even containment within a welded copper shell proved ineffective during classification testing.
SCP-XXXX-1 is a set of videos and animated GIFs characterized by rapidly shifting geometric patterns of bananas. They are cognitohazardous, causing 100% of exposed subjects without memetic resistance training to greatly increase their consumption of bananas for up to a week after a single viewing. A second viewing of the same video or GIF will cause the subject to attempt to create another instance of SCP-XXXX-1 and disseminate it widely, and to replace most of their diet with bananas. This behavior will continue until the subject either is treated with amnestics or expires due to malnutrition. If a subject has successfully posted an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 on a given forum or streaming site and then received amnestic treatment, they will relapse if permitted access to the same site again.
During D-Class testing, it was discovered that the mass of a subject who has consumed bananas decreases within 30 minutes by approximately 1% of the mass of the bananas; SCP-XXXX's mass grows by the same amount.
