Special Containment Procedures:Scp-2962 should not be touched by any part of the body for more than 5 seconds or it will take affect. The scp should be carried with standard fire tongs to its containment cell.
Description: Scp-2962 otherwise known as “The perfect scope.” This Scp has the form of a standard issue 3.5x35 scope for an AR. The scp was assembled and used in duty in █-██-███. After its owner Pvt.████,a loyal soldier who didn’t question anything his superiors said or ordered him to do, died in the line of duty wile using the scp. A few years later the military called the foundation about the scp and told them that whoever had the scope suddenly wanted to start a war so they could die for their country on the line of battle and had the same personality as Pvt.████. Further research is being made. After someone is affected they are now designated as Scp-2962-A.

Subject:Scp-2962
Procedure: A scientist ordered a D-Class to pick up the scope,the D-class was being sentenced to life for stabbing 12 people in the same day,after being told this the D-class stated “Why there is not even a gun in the room for is and I don’t even like guns.” After finally picking up the scope the D-class started getting patriotic and ranting about how he should be out of here and he want to die for his country. The D-class started looking for a gun despite what he said earlier. After he couldn’t find one the scp started to rattle and an AR suddenly appears on the table and the D-class suddenly equipped the scope and the guards came in. After realizing that the guards came in the D-class started shootings the guards.
Results:Scp now identified as an Euclid. D-class neutralized and 2 guards severely injured. After further research the scientists found out that the AR that appeared was from the nearby armory.
Analysis:Further testing needed
Test B - Date █████
Subject:Scp-2962 and Scp-999
Procedure:A new D-class was sent in to do the same as the last one but one of the scientists requested that 999 to be with the D-class when the scp is picked up. After the D-class was fully affected by Scp-2962 the D-classes personality was less violent as the last one. One of the scientists requested to go in and speak to the Scp. After being accepted the scientists came in to the testing room to speak to the D-class. The scientists turned out to be a general veteran and at the time was wearing one of his medals at the time the D-class immediately looks at the medal and stood at attention and saluted. The scientists requested that the D-class state his rank and higher up. The D-class stated “I AM A PVT. SIR MY HIGHER UP IS GENERAL, ██████████.” The rank and general was the same as Pvt.█████. After the scientist stated “At ease” the D-class set down the scp and turned to normal after 2 hours.
Results:Scp-999’s effect seems to calm the affected person and the “Affected” seems to listen to higher level military officials then the original Pvt. even if they have retired.

Closing Statement: After 999 got off 2962-A he attacked Dr.████. Dr.████ is in a coma and has been for 3 months and is stable. And the 2962-A is designated as TERMINATED.
