Special Containment Procedures: All land between 1m and 50m of a SCP-XXXX-1 instance is to be devoid of plantation to decrease the likelihood of spreading SCP-XXXX to urbanized areas. In the case of a SCP-XXXX breach, breached instances are to be removed as soon as possible. If any group or instance of SCP-XXXX-1 were to spread into an urbanized area, said instances are to be terminated via the use of chemicals.

Unauthorised personnel attempting to infiltrate the area are to be sedated and are to consume Class B Amnestics. All SCP-XXXX-1 instances are camoflauged as well as possible to deter civilians. If a personnel were to consume an instance of SCP-XXXX-2, they are to be located and detained in Site-19 for examination. No civilians within the village of Popivka are to know the existence of SCP-XXXX and its counterparts.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a plant virus affecting roughly 50% of the Malus pumila (Apple tree) instances in Popivka, a village 40km north of Poltava in the Poltava Oblast, Ukraine. SCP-XXXX is observed to only affect apple trees and not other species of fruit or fruit tree. The anomalous aspects of SCP-XXXX happen around 2-3 days after the initial contact to an apple tree, in which a 3-stage metamorphosis takes place;

• Upon infection, no physical change is visible. A 3 day buffer period starts before hollowness is visible inside the apples, with smally planty and unedible appendages growing from the ceilings of the hollowed fruit. The seeds are then forced to the sides of the apples by the appendages. Passageways form inside of the appendages and in the uppermiddle of the fruits, connecting the appendages and the stems together with a small tube.

• When all of the appendages are directly linked to the stems, the roots anomalously switch function from rather absorbing water, they attract any underground life such as worms, beetles, ant colonies or any other critters underground to absorb them through the roots. They are crushed by the roots and their organs and mutilated bodies are liquified and sent to the stems of the appendages.

• The appendages will start growing smaller appendages, and soon fleshy organs would grow out from the appendages. After 5 days, the apples should have a heart and they should of grown veins and artilleries to pump the blood around. After 7 days, lungs, kidneys and a liver is shown. After 10 days, a stomach and parts of a brain are starting to be visible. After 17 days, the apple is fully grown with all of the organs of a common human being.
