Item Number: SCP-4xxx
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4xxx is to be covertly observed at all times by designated SCP personnel. All attempts to interact with SCP-4xxx by any SCP personnel, including attempts at termination, have resulted in failure, preventing The Foundation from containing SCP-4xxx within nearby Site-██.
Due to this, and the subject's thus far "Safe" classification, the Overseer Council has concluded that no other containment procedures are yet necessary. Personnel assigned to this task are warned not to be seen by the subject
Description: SCP-4xxx legal name B██████ D███████, is an adult, Caucasian male. He has light brown hair and dark brown eyes. As of the latest addendum (6/2/20██) The subject is approximately 20 years of age, Living in ████, Utah, is approximately 1.7 meters in height and is approximately 100kg in weight. He does not appear to have any out of the ordinary physical characteristics and appears to be, for all intents and purposes, a normal human being. Upon closer inspection, he seems to perhaps have an accelerated rate of epithelialization and angiogenesis, though this is not yet proven.
Beyond being slightly overweight, the subject is in relatively good physical health. His mental health seems to be somewhat poor. Records indicate that the subject suffers from primarily hypermanic bipolar 1 disorder. The subject has been regularly consuming prescription medication for said disorder and has since been falsely reclassified as neutralized on at least two separate occasions.
SCP-4xxx's anomalous effects occur during events of some amount of danger to the subject (SCP-4xxx-A), as well as other minor effects that seem to occur at random (SCP-4xxx-B).
- SCP-4xxx-A:
- Event A-1: At approximately 1█ years of age, SCP-4xxx and a group of his classmates ignited a handful of "M-80" firecrackers inside of a toilet located in an open, dried canal bed. The resulting explosion released 0.3 MJ and a small amount of ceramic shrapnel. While the subject's classmates received minor lacerations, none received any foreign body reactions (Suggesting no shrapnel penetration), and SCP-4xxx received no recorded injury whatsoever.
- Event A-2: At approximately 14 years of age, SCP-4xxx commits juvenile automobile theft. Due to the subject's lack of driving experience, and a speed of approximately 150Km/h, he clips a vehicle parked on the side of the road, and his vehicle rolls three times before coming to a stop upside down. The subject received no recorded injuries from the event. When the authorities arrived, he claimed that his "father was the one driving" and that he ran off. When later inspected, the previously totaled vehicle was upright and required only cosmetic repairs, despite the recorded damage resulting in smoke, leaking fluid, and the vehicle's inability to start. No recorded cause has been found and all attempts to determine a reasonable cause have been unsuccessful.
- Event A-3: The subject mishandles a large butcher's knife and, in a motion that should have severed his finger "stabbed" himself instead. The injury resulted in less than 10ml of bloodloss and became a scar in less than 72 hours.
- Event A-4: At approximately 15 years of age, SCP-4xxx commits another juvenile automobile theft. He attempts to make an illegal left turn on a red light. A "speed-trap" traffic cop flashes his lights at the subject. The subject speeds away, prompting a police chase. The subject feigns a right turn, but quickly turns left and collides with a light pole. The subject leaves the vehicle and runs. The officer quickly apprehends him, cuffs him, and locks him in the police cruiser and calls the station. The subject later stated that he "took off the cuffs, opened the door and ran", despite the cuffs and door to have been proven, by internal camera, to have been locked. The officer again quickly apprehended the subject and was required to tackle him to the asphalt. The officer drove straight to the station rather than calling first. The subject is given an overnight stay in a youth detention center, where he is covertly questioned by Foundation personnel. The subject received no discernible injuries from the event.
- SCP-4xxx-B:
- Event B7: A roll of duct tape is placed on a table. SCP-4xxx moves it to a plush chair. Approximately 15 minutes later, the roll of tape is searched for and is found under a table Approximately 6 meters away, despite it being seen on the chair moments before it was needed.
- Event B12: A deck of trading cards is locked in a coffee table drawer. Moments later, it is found on top of the subjects smartphone, which was placed on said coffee table.
