The source and range of SCP remains undetermined.
SCP-1A is a ritual that can be conducted at the on Crete.

Having trouble figuring out how SCP-2 reckon age. One young woman claimed she'd been alive for 52 seasonal cycles. Based on the orbit estimates Nguyen gave us, that would make her 89. Bromley insists she's certain about the translation.
We're not even sure what the full lifespan is for SCP-2. The oldest individual on the island is 386, and she looks like she's in her early sixties. She's actually petitioned for suicide multiple times so she can have a great-great-great-grandchild, but she keeps getting vetoed because the population considers her their best painter.
Whatever effect slows SCP-2's aging could be unique to them, but I don't think so. Because I feel fantastic, and so does the rest of the team. I haven't had a migraine since we arrived here, and Bromley says her anxiety hasn't been bothering her either.
By all rights, we should feel miserable. It's hot and muggy as a jungle, the gravity's higher, and the only protein we've been getting has been from MREs and rats.

I felt obliged to inform you that I've lodged a formal complaint with the Ethics Committee concerning our treatment of SCP. Obviously SCP are valuable for their reaction to SCP-2 - we'd be decades away from triangulating SCP-O using D-Classes - but now I hear we're crosstesting them against other SCPs just to see if they might differently affected. First off, the Foundation's relationship with SCP is exploitative by every definition. We are buying humans from a Bronze Age-level tribe for trinkets.
Then there's the way the SCP we have in containment are being treated as D-Classes. I fully support the current policy towards D-Class use. We can't study anomalies without risking lives, so we use the worst people, the ones who have turned against their own kind. The SCP we're using don't approach that criteria. Most are volunteers who wanted to make room for a baby. Some are here because of an accidental pregnancy. Only two are actual criminals, and they're both here for stealing food. These may be capital crimes in their society, but not in ours.
Just because they have an SCP number doesn't mean they stop being human. It's borderline whether they should even have an SCP classification.
I realize this will probably sink my career, but I can't just ignore this any longer.
