Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept within a wooden box with a lock on both sides of the box. The corresponding keys to both box locks are never to be held at the same time by one single person, unless otherwise authorized. Currently SCP-XXXX is being held in Site 19's Storage facility. If SCP-XXXX is to be removed for testing, there should be no less than two (2) security personnel present, each holding one of the two (2) keys necessary to unlock SCP-XXXX's container. D-Class Personnel are not to treat SCP-XXXX with less than upmost caution. Any disobedience is to be met with physical force. SCP-XXXX is not permitted to leave site 19, unless otherwise authorized.
Special Containment Procedures Addendum XXXX.01: Following Containment Breach XXXX.05, SCP-XXXX is still to be held within the wooden box, but it must now also be put into a 5mx5m Containment chamber inside Site 19. There should be no less than two (2) security personnel watching said chamber at any given time. Any unauthorized units attempting to access SCP-XXXX's chamber are to be dealt with lethally. The cameras surrounding SCP-XXXX's cell are to be monitored by security personnel at all times. With the the exception of the addendum rules, previous containment procedures are to be followed.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a small pearl that looks as if it were containing a galaxy. SCP-XXXX currently rests on a 46cm long necklace with an ornament strung through it. The ornament takes the form of what appears to be a seashell. At the center of the ornament is a slot in which SCP-XXXX rests. SCP-XXXX can be heard giving off faint sounds of what most subjects refer to as "The ocean calling their name". SCP-XXXX was initially found inside of the slot on the ornament at the bottom of the ███████ Ocean by two Scuba Divers at ██:██ PM on ███, ██, ████. SCP-XXXX emits a weak memetic signal that beckons those nearby to take it out of the facility through any means. Though the signal is weak, any signs of insubordination that would result in the freedom of SCP-XXXX are to be met with physical resistance, with no exceptions.
SCP-XXXX, when worn, activates what most subjects refer to as a "save". This "save" is also known as SCP-XXXX-2. After removing SCP-XXXX, the wearer, and anyone who saw them put SCP-XXXX, will be brought back to the SCP-XXXX-2 instance. No one but the wearer remembers what happened in between SCP-XXXX-2 being created and being recalled. Subjects wearing SCP-XXXX claim to suddenly be thrust into a state of stoicism, and lack the capacity to feel anything more than simple emotions like happiness and sadness. They quickly became hyper-aware of their surroundings, and the thoughts of those around them, in a form of one-sided telepathy. While wearing SCP-XXXX, subjects claim to experience an intense desire to flee the facility, with a blind disregard of their own life. Any subject who may be suspected to act on these desires are to be met with physical resistance, due to the common occurrence of a multi-containment breach when SCP-XXXX breaches it's own containment. Most subjects claim to have an awful headache after removing SCP-XXXX and being brought back to SCP-XXXX-2. It is unknown if SCP-XXXX has any long term effects.
When SCP-XXXX is put onto a living person, and then taken off after they die, they will be brought back to the SCP-XXXX-2 instance they created when they put on the necklace. They will appear to be alive, and completely fine. However, after the exact amount of time that the SCP-XXXX-2 instance lasted before their death elapses, they will suffer the same exact death that they did in their initial SCP-XXXX-2 instance. They can do this a seemingly indefinite amount of times by putting on SCP-XXXX after being revived, but they will always end up dead. There is no way to stop this from happening, with the exception of killing them before they are fated to die, which still ends up with them dying anyway. Anyone caught in one of these death loops is to be denied access to SCP-XXXX, to avoid infinite death loops.
Addendum XXXX.01: Following Containment Breach XXXX.05, object class has been moved to Euclid, and additional Containment Procedures are now in place.
