Special Containment Procedures: SCP- is to be locked in a 2 meter by 3 meter titanium alloy room with 3 inch steel chains bound to his arms and legs. Subject is to be fed a goat carcass once a week and must be sedated for monthly chamber cleanings. Staff members with clearance level 2 and under are allowed contact with SCP-. If SCP- becomes unstable and starts to have sudden mood swings, a high frequency noise of 100 decibels will be played to calm it down.
Description: SCP- is an unidentified creature of unknown origin, it was discovered in a remote part of the Amazon Rain forest bordering Bolivia and Peru, the creature was apprehended after a group of European tourists disappeared from their tourist group, shortly after being found by Bolivian authorities, the bodies had claw marks 2 inches deep, flesh was ripped from their bodies showing broken and chewed on bones,they had their limbs broken, mangled or and/or ripped completely off. After this incident broke out, the Foundation was quickly notified to secure the creature. It was tracked down to an Aztec ruin where it then killed one of our members of Patrol Team B, Cpt. Nathaniel Ruper.
After SCP- was sedated, close studied by our analysts team gave us a detailed description of the creature, SCP- is 132.08 centimeters tall and weighs 105.6 kilograms with shaggy black hair, it has long forearms that reach to it's knees , it has the facial characteristics of a Chimpanzee but it's body structure and poster is of a Brown Bear with ivory talons on its thumbs and sharped hooked fangs on both ends of it's jaw line. SCP- shows a weakness to high frequency noise and is easily provoked by other animals a larger than itself. It is believed to be an adolescent and to have a lifespan of 30-37 years, treatment sessions with Doctor Dean Halloway reveal that it lacks a tailbone and has a forked tongue. SCP- often makes low pitched gurgling noises and growls, most likely a way of communication, attempts to understand what it is saying has led to violent outbursts.
SCP- seems to understand some basic sign language and will try to imitate what has been said towards it, it seems to be vaguely intelligent some times after it was able to unlock one of the chains holding down it's arms, it then referred to a primitive method and started to bite and pull on the other chains, SCP- had to be sedated and held in a 2 meter by 2 meter chamber until it's chains were removed and replaced.
Contact with SCP- is only allowed by members with level 3 clearance or higher, but this is only allowed if request is approved by the board of directors, any unauthorized visits will result in a suspension and review for termination.
