Item #: SCP -3098
Object class: Euclid
Special containment procedures: SCP -3098 is to be kept in a secure locker at all times unless being tested. SCP -3098 must be removed from its locker by at least a Level 3 personnel.
Description: SCP -3098 is a box that contains the board game Scrabble. [REDACTED] is written on the underside of the lid in crude marker.
When asking a question using the letters the game provides, letters rearrange themselves to answer the question. Strangely enough, questions can be answered with more letters than the game provides, even though SCP -3098 only has a set amount of pieces.
The answers to the questions suggest that whoever is answering the questions is a young child as there are occasionally spelling mistakes and incorrect grammar in the answers.
Discovery: SCP -3098 was bought by an old couple in the year 20■■. When they started playing with SCP -3098, it responded to their words on its own. SCP -3098 was quickly taken by agents and the old couple had their memory wiped.
Test log:
Test 3098 - 01: SCP -3098 was asked "What is your name"? SCP -3098 responded with "My naim is ■■■■■". Researchers then asked "What happened to you"? SCP -3098 then responded "I dont wana talk abowt it". Finally, SCP -3098 was asked "Did you die"? The pieces shifted but there was no reply.
Further testing has proven unsuccessful as SCP -3098 has become largely unresponsive prior to the first test.
