Standard Containment Procedures: SCP -4990 is to be stored in a 5m×4m×3m soundproof room. As SCP -4990 can't move, the door doesn't need to be very secure.

Description: SCP -4990 is a console of four timpanis ranging from 23 to 32 inches in diameter. Each of the individual drums is covered in ornate patterns, which are made of solid gold.

When struck, a lightning bolt appears within a 1km radius of SCP -4990, however, no rain accompanies the lightning bolt. Test subjects have noted that the thunder that comes with the lighting corresponds to the note played on SCP -4990. The lightning however is dangerous, and can kill or injure any living creature it strikes (except for SCP -682, tests have prooved that.)

Obtainment: SCP -4990's properties were discovered in an orchestra building in ■■■■■. The SCP Foundation was immediately called in to conviscate SCP -4990.
