Note from Doctor Henry Coupman: “Due to the highly dangerous nature of SCP XXXX and it’s fairly easy containment procedures(unlike SCP-2317), all personnel are required to know of its existence and are to be informed of its containment procedures and description (with the information being based on their security level.) On another note, many people have been criticizing the containment procedures. I assure all of you, these procedures are very important in maintaining normalcy in the universe.”

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid Keter
Threat Level: Red
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is to be contained in a standard humanoid containment cell, the surface of which is to be illuminated with roughly 740 lux. SCP-XXXX-1 is to be contained in a standard humanoid containment cell, the surface of which is to be illuminated by no less than 3,703 lux. The only exception for this rule is to conduct interviews with SCP-XXXX-1, in which the lux level is to be lowered to 3,000 as to not cause a breach. Rooms within a 1 km radius of SCP-XXXX-1’s room are to be illuminated by no less than 3,0000 lux. Approximately fifteen (15) backup generators are to be used to give the room light in case of a power outage. Another ten (10) backup generators are to power the rooms outside of its containment cell in case of a power outage. SCP-XXXX-1 has shown no need for basic human requirements such as food, water, and sleep. SCP-XXXX-1 has also shown to be able to breach containment easier if items are placed inside its room. Because of these things, SCP-XXXX-1’s containment cell is to be devoid of any decor, appliances, and furniture is to have only a small padded pedestal ingrained into the floor because of good behavior1. SCP-XXXX-2 is never to come into contact with SCP-XXXX-1 under any circumstances. SCP-XXXX-2 is to be contained in Site-42, as that is the furthest site away from where SCP-XXXX-1 is held. A check of SCP-XXXX-2’s containment cell is to be held weekly monthly. If SCP-XXXX-2 has moved at all from its position the previous week month, it is to be moved back to its previous position. If SCP-XXXX-2 has breached containment within the month, the containment procedures for it are to be changed for four months as per Protocol crepusculum2. In the event of a containment breach, MTF LEV-4 “Lightning Bugs” are to be dispatched to the location of the breach. All personnel at Site-42 are to be notified as well and all available personnel are to guard SCP-XXXX-2’s cell.

Description: SCP XXXX-1 appears to be a male humanoid entity with dark hair. SCP-XXXX-1 is roughly 2.13 meters in height and 69.85 kilograms in weight. It is usually seen in a fetal position near the top right corner of the wall. SCP-XXXX-1 has demonstrated the ability to disable most lights under one lux. SCP-XXXX-1 has shown extreme discomfort under light, its discomfort going so far as to it collapsing in sunlight or any light equivalent to it. Light appears to be the only way to stop its anomalous abilities from manifesting. When not under light, SCP-XXXX-1 has been shown to express many anomalous abilities. These abilities are levitation, teleportation, above average strength, and telekinesis. SCP-XXXX-2 is a rock that absorbs 99.97% of all light. SCP-XXXX-2 will gravitate slowly towards SCP-XXXX-1 over the course of a year. It is highly likely that when SCP-XXXX-1 comes into contact with SCP-XXXX-2 an XK-Class End-of-the-World Scenario will occur.3 Upon coming into contact with SCP-XXXX-2, SCP-XXXX-1 will no longer be affected by lights and cannot be easily harmed by conventional means, SCP-XXXX-1’s ability to deactivate lights and its ability of levitation are also greatly enhanced. SCP-XXXX-1 has greatly expressed its desire to “Find the stone" and "Deactivate the sun”. It is unknown whether or not SCP-XXXX-1 is correct that they can destroy the sun; however, it is to be taken as fact in order to not risk having the sun destroyed.
