Object Class:Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX should be kept in a standard 1x1x1 ft safe with foam filler. The safe is to have a minimum of 2 guards on surveillance alongside at least a level 3 chief negotiator appointed by [DATA EXPUNGED] should any instance of XXXX-1 occur. Under circumstances XXXX-1 is present, follow protocol XXX-A-34 unless advised otherwise. If protocol XXX-A-34 should result in failure, attempt the subjugation of XXXX-1’s prior to it’s capture of XXXX. In the event that XXXX is lost, begin monitoring all firefighter frequencies with MTF Echo-13 “Raven’s Watch” on standby for immediate deployment.
Description: SCP XXXX is a feather from the species Corvus corax with highly advanced biomechanical design used as an anomalous database. It’s structure primarily consists of plasmas with various anomalous materials representing transistors, semiconductors, and diodes very similar to solid state drives or other forms of memory device. Despite this, the object retains its form indefinitely and is safe to touch without harming personnel or the device. From experiments involving personnel, the object exhibits the ability to contain unknown quantities of information. Many personnel, when touching the feather will experience random flashes of information. When attempting to harness either the energy or information from the object, a reaction by SCP XXXX-1 is triggered, removing XXXX from containment. Despite efforts, XXXX-1 always succeeds, [Reference XXXX-1 Description].
SCP XXXX seems to be a molt of XXXX-1, however their discovery suggests otherwise. The first instance of this object was found within the chest cavity of an unidentifiable humanoid found deceased in a state of cremation. This is presently assumed to be some sort of vessel as information regarding it is currently unknown.
Testing has shown objects being capable of transmitting information to people when contacting any nerve ending directly. Upon reviewing mental activities during the process of transmission, evidence has shown that information will wipe certain areas of the brain, causing personnel to enter a few of the following, a vegetative state of mind, loss of speech and or motor function, or organ failure. Three cases have proven this can be avoided though currently options of this process is currently unknown and is completely left by chance [Reference Interviews AC-14, AC-17, AC-20]. All other results, if exposure endures for approximately 1 hour, will cause certain death from organ failure. All attempts at testing with personnel are currently cancelled due to lack of progress. Information stored inside will typically follow a trend with dates starting closer near the feathers discovery progressing into a usage cycle. The cycle however is inconsistent with each instance of the object. For example, dates on instance 1 found dates ranging every 6 months, as where instance 2 ranged from every 3 years. Most information consists of complex probability equations alongside a variety of dates and names. Much of these equations are presently being interpreted and expanded upon alongside their date and name counterpart. All dates involved thus far are passed tense.
Addendum-1: The first known instance of SCP-XXXX was found in 1976, within the carcass of an unidentified man in a rural suburb of Ventura, California. The local Fire Department received a 911 call about a grass fire in the neighborhood. Upon arrival, Foundation agents were notified. Subject was transported into laboratory REDACTED and cooling was attempted. Despite efforts, tissue continued to flake and burn. Burning continued for 27 hours, completely reducing the body to ash, leaving SCP-XXXX unharmed. Any remains were found to have no anomalous properties. During research of the feather, scientists reported headaches, and sudden visions when coming into direct contact with the object. These visions consisted of random numbers typically surrounding parts to different equations with different numbers and equations appearing each time. However the visions were often blurry.
Dr Vanya Novalsky, SCP XXXX Project Lead, believed the deeper the contact the more effect XXXX had on its subject. It also concerned Dr Novalsky that it may be connected to a great entity which plants itself within people. Through this reasoning, Dr Novalsky made a request to see what the effects of implanting the Calamus of XXXX into a person might be. Initial experimentation began with light penetration of personnel in their upper forearm to avoid injury serious injuries. Upon insertion subjects began to immediately respond causing random muscle spasms, unintelligible speech, and vegtablization. 4 subjects would be killed during experiments after realising exposure to XXXX for any period nearing an hour would cause certain death. 3 subjects would be capable of recording significant data regarding information from the feather.
Interviewed: [Personnel 61782-F2]
Interviewer: [Dr Vanya Novalsky]
Foreword: [Post Operation Interview, prolonged exposure to SCP XXXX for approximately 15 minutes, patient did not suffer shock]
<Begin Log, 06/09/19██>
Dr Novalsky: [Here we have Patient 14, Personnel 61782-F2 who will be addressed as Phil to keep patient at ease. We start at 14:35 and will run until the subject has no further information to give based on testing. Phil, how are you feeling?]
61782-F2: [It feels like-like my brain is being sucked into hole where everything on the other side is just… clamshells and butter?]
Dr Novalsky: [Alright, lets remove the object before he can’t speak.]
Log Cuts [14:36]
Log Continues [14:50]
Dr Novalsky: [Subject is now back, object is removed and no signs of mental damage other than a light twitch and some errors in speech. He’s been provided a notepad so he can use other functions to communicate. Phil, tell me what you're seeing.]
61782-F2: [It’s like a weird equation? Like I think a lot of it has to do with world war 2 but I can’t tell.]
Dr Novalsky: [Are these complex? Maybe you can solve them?]
61782-F2: [Some of them are already solved so if and I’d like to think the others are as well. Well, I guess it’s odd because if I pay attention and try to solve the numbers, different outcomes happen. Peroxide poisoning. I’m really rusty on my math so a lot of it just makes no sense. Sorry I’m having treble?]
Dr Novalsky: [Go ahead and use your notepad so we don’t lose anything. Just take it slow, we are in no rush here.]
61782-F2: [Okay, I also have some randomly names to write down that coincide with some of the more present tense dates.]
Dr Novalsky: [Write down everything you see as important, tell me some of those names.]
61782-F2: [Can I have water?]
Dr Novalsky: [There’s water right there…]
61782-F2: [My bad… This is difficult. I think one of the names is REDACTED]
Dr Novalsky: [Okay, that’s gonna have to be cut from the script. Let’s not worry about the names for now and focus on our numbers here. Is there anything else that you’re getting from this?
61782-F2: [Other than a splitting headache, when are those pills supposed?]
<End Log, 06/09/19██>
Closing Statement: [Personnel 61782-F2 was highly cooperative despite difficulties in speech and other motor functions. Names referenced have since been removed due to confidential names being said. 61782-F2 has been sent to rehabilitation and information regarding this is being analized.]

Special Containment Procedures: XXXX-1 Is to be treated as a Foundation employee. XXXX-1 is to not be given access to level 3 clearance card. XXXX-1 is to be closely monitered through the Existence Log provided. Should XXXX-1 cease to exist, continue schedule
Description: All documents in the Existence Log provide a chain of evidence regarding the existence of a non hazardous paradoxical humanoid. Periodic existence records will in of themselves cease to exist alongside the entity except for the birth certificate and death certificate. During instances of the entity’s existence texts available provide all available information regarding its influence on non paradoxical frequencies. During some instances of XXXX-1, certain documents may be unavailable and unrecognized by the computer. Live documents follow similar trends. [Items Removed:Subject Name;Subject Gender;Subject Occupation…]
Existence Log: Dr Dette Grey:
6/24/1970: Birth Certificate of Dette Grey, Gender: Male, Weight: 8 lbs 3 oz, Eye Color: Green.
Labor lasted 23 hours, delivery lasted 1.5 hours.
2/9/1974: Initial documentation of Dette Grey’s existence ceasing recorded at 15:32 at the Los Angeles Hospital, where medical records show Dette Grey deceased due to head trauma and internal bleeding. Suspect claimed Dette wasn’t visible due to the van’s height and had stopped immediately after running over the boy.
2/10/1974: Los Angeles Hospital holds records stating operations done to the child resulting in success as well as rapid recovery of the child from head trauma and internal bleeding. Mr and Mrs Grey were given advice regarding concussion treatment and limitations on the child's physical activity alongside a bill of operation.
2/13/1974:
Dette Grey was taken into foundation custody from parents after an alleged cognito hazardous entity was sighted alongside Dette Grey post incident. Dette Grey was found in multiple locations including the following: Los Angeles Hospital, 1716 Ojai Drive VENTURA CA, Arroyo Verde Park VENTURA CA. According to Task Force records, each entity would periodically disappear and reappear without notice.
