Head of research: Doctor Felipe Puch
Subjects: Tests A-G: D-5678. Test H: D-4345. Test I: D-6657
Procedure for Tests A to E: Subject is provided with the instance transferred onto a solid wall. They are instructed to scrub a specific section of the painting with a surgical hook until a piece of the painting rips off.
Test A: SCP-XXXX-B-1, "Love" Mural.
Date 3/12/12
Results: A red conical object was ripped from the painting. The object seems gelatinous to the touch and fragile. The subject experienced feelings of comfort and happiness while holding the object.
Test B: SCP-XXXX-B-3, "Hatred" Mural.
Date 3/14/12
Results: A set of yellow barb-wire like objects were produced from the painting. The objects were rough and continuously fluctuated between 30 and 60 °C. The subject reported feeling angry and disgusted by everything he could see in the chamber while holding the samples, including the walls themselves.
Test C: SCP-XXXX-B-4, "Wisdom" Mural.
Date 3/23/12
Results: A cloud of dark purple gas containing luminescent particles started floating out of the painting. While moving inside of it, D-5678 reported being able to understand the functions of things around him. Subject then proceeded to open the door to the test chamber and attempt to escape; they were quickly immobilized by security personnel.
Test D: SCP-XXXX-B-6, "Altruism" Mural.
Date 3/25/12
Results: Multiple small pieces of the painting fell to the ground while scrubbing. All samples possessed different forms and multiple colors, all of them solid in consistency. While holding them, subject reported feeling happy and wishing to share a piece with everyone. Test aborted after subject began disrobing, claiming they wanted 'to share their clothes and body with the world'.
Test E-1: SCP-XXXX-B-9, "Vice" Mural.
Date 4/1/12
Results: Subject could not complete the test. Physical contact was made while trying to scrub the mural, and a new, slime-like, green form was added to the design. The subject remained in a state of shock for the remainder of the test. D-5678 suffered from an addiction to alcohol until this test. They now report only experiencing a minor desire for it.
Test E-2: SCP-XXXX-B-9, "Vice" Mural.
Date 4/4/12
Results: A black slime-like substance was extracted from the painting. The fluid did not leave traces and was warm to the touch, but caused minor burns consistent with those caused by corrosive substances. Subject reported feeling extremely anxious and having the desire to "drink beer until my belly explodes".
Addendum 546-1: A mistake was made during storage of all mural samples at Section 2, in which a small "Altruism" piece fell inside the "Wisdom" containment box. The sample absorbed a small portion of the gaseous object and morphed into a grey square tile. Testing of contact between 2 pieces has been approved.
Test F: SCP-XXXX-B-1,3,4,6,9 Mural Samples.
Date 4/7/12
Procedure: Traces of each mural piece are put into contact with each other in order to see any possible reactions. Subject is ordered to follow instructions to perform the test themselves, placing the designated pieces into a reinforced glass box.
Results: As listed below.
"Hatred and Love": The "Hatred" sample immediatly surrounded the "Love" sample, putting pressure on it until it caused the "Love" sample to burst, covering the entirety of the box. The "Hatred" sample then warped into a sticky dark-blue mass of web like structures. When making contact with the web, the Subject reported feeling extremely depressed.
The resulting mixture is percieved by all observers to have the underlying concept of "Grief".
"Wisdom and Vice": As the gas-like form of the "Wisdom" sample started entering the box, the "Vice" sample started shrinking and losing its slime-like structure while absorbing the gas. The entirety of the "Wisdom" sample was absorbed, and the "Vice" sample finished its alteration turning into a sphere of golden coloration with rectangular sections colored green, resembling emeralds. Upon touching it, subject reported feeling capable of mimicking all of Picasso's paintings with no difficulty.
The resulting mixture is percieved by all observers to have the underlying concept of "Virtue".
"Wisdom and Altruism": The "Wisdom" sample started entering the individual "Altruism" samples. All samples became black, grey and white in color, with different variations in the tones of grey. The pieces also morphed their shape to become squared "tiles". Upon contact, the subject reported the desire to provide a specific set of tiles to each member of site personnel which would "teach them what they need". Subject also stated feeling the same way when teaching at the [REDACTED] Art School, Mexico.
The resulting mixture is percieved by all observers to have the underlying concept of "Teaching and Learning".
Melting: A portion of each sample is put inside of a small individual furnace and set to high temperatures to see if they can be returned to a paint-like state. Test is successful at 100° Celcius.
Mixing: All liquids are mixed into the same container. Upon mixing they create a black viscous corrosive substance with similar chemical properties to nitric acid. The subject suffered severe headaches once the mixing was completed and passed out. The substance has been stored for future testing, labeled SCP-XXXX-B-Y, at Storage Section-2.
Researcher's note: We are not understanding something here. The corrosive matter created by the Mixing test caused the D-Class to pass out, but the substance did not expel any fumes and the subject made no physical contact with it, only looked at it.

Test G: SCP-XXXX-B-X Mural Creation.
Date 4/8/12
Procedure: Portions of each object extracted from each SCP-XXXX-B instance are melted at 100° Celcius. The liquids are placed onto a palette of colors and provided to D-5678 with a brush. Subject is instructed to create a painting following the style of the instances seen so far. Subject has extensive studies in art and is deemed capable of the task.
Results: Subject managed to re-create a painting following the style of SCP-XXXX-A. Three seconds after of completion, subject suffered seizures that rendered them incapable of movement. Security personnel employing flamethrowers are sent in but were incapable of entering, since the door to the test chamber remained locked by unknown means. Video log shows the paint on the canvas sliding to the ground beneath D-5678 and boiling.
Subject was then slowly consumed by the liquid until no trace of them was left. The liquid proceeded to ignite and disintegrate itself, at which point security personnel were able to open the door to the test chamber. Markings on the floor were left reading the message: "I am the creator. All art must follow a path. A mixture of them will lead to madness and chaos. Be glad I saved you from that atrocity."
Addendum 546-2: During the disappearance of D-5678 while performing Test G, the substance labeled SCP-XXXX-B-Y disappeared from its container. No forced entry of Storage Section-2 was detected.
Test H: SCP-XXXX-B-1 "Love" Sample - Attempted Reintegration
Date 4/15/12
Procedure: After achieving the conversion of a D-Class into a "Contributor" of SCP-XXXX-B-1, D-4345 is then ordered to ingest a liquid form of the piece they donated to the instance.
Results: Subject vomited the substance roughly 1 minute after ingestion. The words "What was gifted shall not be returned." were formed on the floor with the liquid. Subject has suffered from schizophrenia since the test. Administration of Class-B amnestics and reintegration to normal society at a psiquiathric institution is pending approval.
Test I: SCP-XXXX-B-1 "Love" Sample - Attempted Re-Painting.
Date 4/15/12
Procedure: Making use of a melted version of the "Love" sample produced by D-4345 to the instance, subject D-6657 is instructed to use the entirety of the fluid to repaint the image as it used to be on the canvas.
Results: Subject was successful at re-painting the form, but the sample slid off the canvas and pooled on the floor, remaining in its melted form.
Final Analysis: The combination of two concepts in physical state can produce a new concept related in some way to the ones that created it, yet the combination of more than two concepts (as seen in the Mixing test) is poorly understood and potentially more dangerous.
All samples seem to have differences in their form and color but share specific characteristics with other pieces of the same concept, and are a clear representation of human feelings and ideals. The use of certain samples could lead to dangerous results, however, some of the samples could be employed to aid Foundation personnel in their activites, an example would be the use of the "Virtue" sample to increase medical staff confidence and focus when permorfing a complicated surgery; further testing is needed.
It is theorized that the SCP-XXXX-B instances do not instill their concept into us, but instead evoke it within us.
Given the results of the Mixing and Mural Creation test, the present theory is that to observe more than two concepts colliding together, even in harmony, becomes overwhelming for the human mind since all the concepts will be "evoked" at once.
It is theorized that the entity known as SCP-XXXX-A has a level of omniscense regarding its paintings, can not or wishes not to return the concepts of its murals and is able to act within Foundation grounds unrestricted. Aside from the result of Test G and the SCP-XXXX-B-5 event [see Addendum 546-3], no signs of open hostility against the Foundation have been found.
As of this date, D-5678 has not reappeared.
