Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is kept in a standard item locker in Site-35. Testing on SCP-XXXX must first be authorized by Researcher Walker.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a thin device, measuring 88 mm x 143 mm and having a thickness of 0.04 mm. Activation of SCP-XXXX requires the device be wrapped, held, or otherwise applied to a sapient being. SCP-XXXX is believed to have been created by a foreign entity.

While SCP-XXXX is activated, it will transmit a broad range of frequencies, causing the wearer to perceive a dense set of concepts which seem to convey a static message, hereby referred to as SCP-XXXX-1. It is believed SCP-XXXX-1 remains the same between individuals, possibly influenced by differences in language and dialect. After removal of SCP-XXXX, the wearer stops experiencing SCP-XXXX-1, and no lingering anomalous effects in the wearer have been found.

In all testing, users of SCP-XXXX have had great difficulty in trying to explain the contents of SCP-XXXX-1. It is not known whether this is due to a difficulty in transmission for the sapient entities used in testing or the nature of SCP-XXXX-1 itself. Most users tested have indicated that the message is an invitation and a form of menu, with various options requiring payment, along with small pieces of the whole message.

Addendum: A team of Foundation linguists and neuroscientists was tasked with translating SCP-XXXX-1. The following is an ordered assembly of data following testing.
