Item #: S.C.P-XXXX
Object class: Keter.
Level of menace: Black.
Special Containment Procedures: The SCP-XXXX has to be surrounded in a radius of 12 km, with a minimum of 20 boats of the Foundation, where at least four of them have to be part of the mobile task force Gamma 6: "Deep Feeders". Each boat must have 10 armed men of the Foundation and must be equipped with a radar and long scope surveillance cameras. These boats must be 24/7 ensuring that nothing enters or leaves the area. If a person insists, the use of weapons is authorized. If the subject is an SCP-XXXX-A or B, see attached-xxxx-1 and 2, it must be destroyed from a safe distance. Entering SCP-XXXX is prohibited, unless the O5 Council gives permission; in that case, the subject/s has to approach the SCP-XXXX on a wooden boat and without any metallic or electronic object/s. And when he comes back, a thorough body-cache is mandatory to verify that he is not a SCP-XXXX-B.
Description: The SCP-XXXX appears to be a perfectly rounded, 5km diameter island whose majority of land is occupied by an inactive volcano. Recent research has revealed that the SCP-XXXX is a small ship camouflaged as an island. This same research discovered that we are treating with the vanguard of a bigger army and that it is upgrading itself, somehow. The number of SCP-XXXX-A or B inside of SCP-XXXX is unknown. The materials of which it is composed are unknow.

The SCP-XXXX was discovered due to the mysterious disappearance of mobile task force Gamma-6. The Foundation was concerned and sent two other MTF Gamma-6 to investigate the matter. Both were separated by a distance of 1km. The rearguard team had powerful cameras and snipers with tranquilizers. The MTF’s went to the place where the missing unit had been last seen. Three hours had passed since the start of the mission when the MTF contacted the Foundation and notified the existence of one island not registered in any of the maps and the fact that the other MTF ship was not moving and their inability to communicate with the crew. An estimate distance of 8 km existed between the ship and the island.
After 10 minutes, the paralyzed MTF boat ship gave a violent shake, bent in half and was dragged to the bottom of the sea by something or someone. This caused the other MTF to request reinforcements, which were authorized by the O5 Council. In less than three hours, the SCP-XXXX was completely surrounded and the surface monitored. One hour later an agent of the Foundation was detected on the coast of SCP-XXXX. It was confirmed that he was one of the members of the missing detachment. The doctor Carlen requested that a class D member, in a wooden boat, reached the island to rescue the agent. The permit was given and, surprisingly, the extraction was carried out successfully.
When the class D member returned with the agent, who identified himself as agent Carter, Dr. Carlen requested an interview with him.

The next day both agent Carter and Dr. Carlen were found dead with a silvery liquid coming out of their ears and nose.

The control of the investigation was transferred to Dr. Esperanza.

Note from Dr. Esperanza: “I am tremendously excited to lead this project. It’s what I love about this job. The SCP-XXXX… I wish to see it inside-out.”

Test XXXX-1:

Subject: Dr. Esperanza asked for permission to send four class D members to investigate the SCP-XXXX. The Council O5 allowed the scouting.

Due to irregularities while following the safety protocol, Dr. Esperanza lost control of the SCP-XXXX investigation. Now the manager will be Dr. Geronimo.

Incident XXXX-1:

On January 1, 2019, at 00:30, someone irrupted in the room where the main computers of the Foundation were. Twenty guards of the Foundation were sent to capture the intruders. These were no other than Dr. Esperanza and the four class D members that participated in the test SCP-XXXX-1.

The team was about to capture them when they suddenly “transformed” into SCP-XXXX-B. According to the only survivor, the doctor’s right arm was a metallic black and was connected to a computer.
They rushed against the security team. There was a sole survivor and only one SCP-XXXX-B could be captured. The other four disappeared leaving no trace. Two days after the incident, Dr. Geronimo asked the O5 Council for permission to interview the SCP-XXXX-B.

Note from Dr. Geronimo: Talking with SCP-XXXX-B has been the easiest and most confusing thing I have done since my arrival at the Foundation, and the most humane as well. I hope to understand it better in the future.

According to the information given by SCP-XXXX-B, the O5 Council gave the order to the Mobile Task Force Iota-10 ("Damn Feds") to look for any SCP-XXXX-B. During the course of this investigation, 7 members of the MTF lota-10 have already disappeared.

Test XXXX-2:
> [DATA DELETED BY SCP-XXXX-B, IMPOSSIBLE TO RECONNECT]

After a thorough analysis of the Foundation’s computers, a virus which eliminates certain information from the SCP-XXXX was detected. There is no way to eliminate or block this virus. SCP-XXXX-B, being loyal to its claims, has not said anything about it.
Note from Dr. Geronimo: “Incredible, this is the first time I see a virus that can’t be blocked or eliminated. This shows the clear difference in technology. Surely, if SCP-XXXX-B wanted, a massive attack could be carried out against the whole system. I have to admit that I’m getting excited.”

Unauthorized XXXX-3:

Subject: destruction of the SCP-XXXX. Denied.
Procedure: A group of the Foundation stole three loaded bombers and set for SCP-XXXX.
Results: When the bombers were 7 km away from the SCP-XXXX, they stopped working and began to fall. 10 seconds later, three unknow objects left the volcano, took the bombers at high speed and re-entered the volcano. Throughout the process, SCP-XXXX-B was laughing and said: “Useless”, in all existing languages.

All involved were punished for not obeying orders.

After this incident, Dr. Geronimo requested another interview with SCP-XXXX-B.

After three months a letter arrives at the Foundation. It said the following:

Dear Foundation:
I thank you for everything you have done. It moves me a lot. But when the King Machine arrives, everything will have been in vain. So, my recommendation is that you start to designing a way to jump from one reality to another with large groups of people.
A cordial greeting:
The one that warns.”

The writing couldn’t be recognized and SCP-XXXX-B didn’t say anything about it.

Note from Dr. Geronimo: “Honestly, I don’t know how to deal with this issue, I think we have come across something, not the most dangerous, but the most organized. Millions of questions are going through my mind. I feel that, if I keep leading this project, I will lose my mind.

Five days later, SCP-XXXX-B spoke, asking the O5 Council to pay attention to his statement. What he said was the following:
“I am not a threat, think of me as a temporary ally. I will help as much as possible to keep this reality intact. But when the King Machine arrives, we will declare war.”

After the declaration reached the O5 Council, the use of SCP-XXXX-B in tests involving others SCPs was prohibited. Any type of interaction with SCP-XXXX-B other than monitoring it was also forbidden.
