SCP-4709 Eros
Object Class- Euclid
Special Containment Procedure-
SCP-4709 should be contained in a 7m by 5m room will dim pink/red lighting. Furniture such as a bed with four decorative pillows and a hamock chair as well as a stationary set should be present in the entity's room. These are necessary to keep SCP-4709 content and should not be removed unless they are sufficiently damaged. When the entity runs out of stationary it must be replaced within 24hrs or the entity will become enraged.
The decorative pillows and blanket present in SCP-4709's room must be silk and as for the pillows they must be filled with goose feathers. If these requirements are not met
SCP-4709 will become hostile.
Description- SCP-4709 is a blonde, tan skinned, humanoid male, roughly 187cm tall, with gray blue eyes and light freckles. The entity has large cream colored wings with a wingspan of 180cm and is adorned in a long silk toga. SCP-4709 was found on a small previously undescovered island approximately 200 miles off the shore of Greece.
The entity is very passive personality wise and enjoys communicating, sometimes provocatively, with a "favorite" male staff member, but easily becomes aggressive when an object in it's room is removed or tampered with, or if it's current "favorite" staff member is harmed.
SCP-4709's anomalous abilities include flight and emitting a calm sensation onto personnel/SCPs within a 5m radius.
The entity's large wings are similar in shape to that of a swan, these wings allow SCP-4709 sustained flight for an indeterminate ammount of time. So far top speed has not been collected, however the entity was shown the ability to fly fast and make calculated maneuvers when it was first discovered.
The calm sensation SCP-4709 emits has been described by personnel as a feeling similar to meditation, personnel have also described that they had an easier time focusing when under the effects of SCP-4709's anomalous ability.
Interview-1
SCP-4709
Dr. Emmitt Wilson
Foreward- Interview-1 is just to gather basic information about the entity, later interviews will go into more depth.
<Begin Log>
Dr. Wilson Hello SCP-4709, how are you feeling?
SCP-4709 I'll admit I'm a bit peeved.
Dr. Wilson May I ask why?
SCP-4709 … Really? Well I was taken from my happy lush island and imprisoned in a tiny box.
Dr. Wilson Hm, I can understand how that would be frustrating, but we're doing this for a good cause.
SCP-4709 … Sure. So Doc, do you have a lover?
Dr. Wilson That isn't important to this conversation, please focus.
SCP-4709 You're no fun.
Dr. Wilson I'm not supposed to be. So tell me SCP-4709, is there anyway we could improve your containment cell?
SCP-4709 First off, my name is Eros, and could perhaps I get some plants in here? Or more room to fly? I need to stretch my wings, they're cramping up.
Dr. Wilson I apologize 4709, but I'm not allowed to call you anything but your identification number. We can arrange for some plants to be added into your cell and we will be beginning flight tests soon enough.
SCP-4709 Do you have a wife?
Dr. Wilson Why are you so interested in my love life 4709?
SCP-4709 Well, I'm so lonely in here, and you're so handsome.
Dr. Wilson It is against code to form a mutual bond with an SCP.
SCP-4709 Well some rules were meant to be broken, don't you agree Doctor?
Dr. Wilson I believe this interview is over. Me or another staff member will be back at some point to do another interview. Goodbye.
SCP-4709 Bye bye!
<End Log>
Closing statement SCP-4709 requires plants in it's containment cell, it also requires human contact due to "loneliness" however extended visiting time is not allowed. We will, however, continue with regular interviews, this should suffice.
Interview-2
SCP-4709
Dr Emmitt Wilson
Foreward Routine check in, gettin more info on it's background.
<Begin Log>
Dr Wilson Hello SCP-4709, how are you feeling today?
SCP-4709 Fine. Though a bit bored if I'm honest.
Dr Wilson Is there anything new that you'd like?
SCP-4709 I'm so lonely, I need a friend. Really I need a lover, but I doubt that is possible so a friend would suffice. I need more interaction, I need to talk to people.
Dr Wilson Well I will be continuing daily check-ins so you may talk to me.
SCP-4709 Listen Dr Wilson you are gorgeous, I'll admit it, but you really are no fun to talk to. You only want to talk about things that further my captor's agenda.
Dr Wilson Well then how about we talk about your life before the foundation found you?
SCP-4709 You're just proving my point. You only want to know these things because your higher ups told you to get this information. You really don't care do you?
Dr Wilson What if I do care? I really am interested in your life before all this.
