Item Number: SCP-xxxx
Object Class: Euclid Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Foundation staff assigned to SCP-xxxx are to coordinate with SCP-xxxx-1 to help ensure the containment of SCP-xxxx-2. Negotiations between SCP-xxxx-1 and the Foundation are ongoing to determine the status of SCP-xxxx-2. Classification of SCP-xxxx-2 instances as separate from SCP-xxxx are to be determined on a case-by-case basis. SCP-xxxx-1 is to be denied access to any Foundation documents not directly approved by project command.
The locations provided by SCP-xxxx-1 as the sites of additional facilities are to be monitored. Should an additional site manifest in our reality, contact protocols utilized with SCP-xxxx are to be upheld.
Efforts to neutralize SCP-xxxx are ongoing. Any confirmed SCP-xxxx-1 instances encountered by Foundation personnel are to be terminated on sight. SCP-xxxx-2 instances are generally considered unobtainable at present time, but should one be found, it is to be subject to testing and considered for designation as an SCP object. Foundation liasons to world governments and other Groups of Interest are to report any interaction between SCP-xxxx-1 and said governments or Groups of Interest.
Known locations where additional facilities might manifest are to be monitored by Foundation operatives. Should another facility manifest, it is to be eliminated with extreme prejudice.
Any Foundation personnel caught attempting to enter SCP-xxxx without authorization or trying to assist SCP-xxxx-1 instances in any way are to be considered additional instances of SCP-xxxx-1 and are to be treated in a similar fashion.
Description: SCP-xxxx is a facility located in Nevada apparently originating from an alternate reality. SCP-xxxx-1 reports indicate SCP-xxxx is intended for use in a similar manner to Foundation containment sites, being operated by an organization called the Fortean Studies Bureau1. SCP-xxxx possesses expected levels of security around it, including electrified fencing, security cameras and checkpoints staffed by armed guards. SCP-xxxx reportedly was created in 1949 by the US government in the wake of an alien spacecraft being discovered in the Mojave Desert2. SCP-xxxx was relocated into our reality by unknown means and interviews with SCP-xxxx-1 instances have not yielded a plausible explanation for its appearance in our reality.
SCP-xxxx-1 is the collective designation for the personnel staffing the site. Approximately 90% of SCP-xxxx-1 instances are biologically normal humans. The remaining 10% of SCP-xxxx-1 instances display limited anomalous abilities. While none qualify as reality benders, they display traits that would result in their classification as anomalous according to Foundation standards. These traits include telekinesis, pyrokinesis, extreme strength and heightened speed. Interviews with SCP-xxxx-1 instances in management positions report these individuals were recruited as “special talent” operatives. SCP-xxxx-1 display a wide range of ranks and roles within SCP-xxxx, including research, care of biological specimens, security, maintenance, management, IT, cafeteria and field agents. There are approximately 487 SCP-xxxx-1 staff members. Roughly 70% of SCP-xxxx-1 instances have a counterpart in our reality bearing the same name and appearance.
SCP-xxxx-2 is the collective designation for anomalous items located within SCP-xxxx. These items are reportedly of extraterrestrial origin, according to SCP-xxxx-1. SCP-xxxx houses roughly 27 biological specimens (21 living, 4 deceased and 2 in suspended animation) and 34 pieces of anomalous technology. 7 SCP-xxxx-2 items are used to assist in containment of other SCP-xxxx-2 instances, including an artificial intelligence network, two beam-based weapons and a compound of unknown origin used to keep some biological specimens in suspended animation. Classification of SCP-xxxx-2 instances as separate files has been proposed, but is pending the transfer of SCP-xxxx-2 into Foundation custody.
Initial containment of SCP-xxxx was facilitated by SCP-xxxx-1 following initial manifestation in 20██. Interviews with SCP-xxxx-1 showed that SCP-xxxx was one of 5 sites across the United States set up to research anomalous objects and creatures. Each site had a different key research focus, including anomalous artifacts, unusual creatures and extraterrestrial objects and beings, which was SCP-xxxx’s focus. It has been determined anomalies in SCP-xxxx’s home dimension were less prevalent and dangerous then in our own, based on the FSB having more lax protocols than major containment-oriented Groups of Interest (including the Foundation). The locations given for other sites by SCP-xxxx-1 have been monitored but no other sites have shown up in our reality.
SCP-xxxx-1 turned against the Foundation following unauthorized access to the Foundation database and major communications utilizing three SCP-xxxx-2 objects. Through this access, SCP-xxxx-1 discovered several protocols and policies they found objectionable, including the use of D-Class personnel, a proposed plan to contain specific SCP-xxxx-1 instances possessing anomalous traits and the discovery the Foundation had no plans to assist in returning SCP-xxxx back to its source reality. Since this breach, SCP-xxxx-1 has been actively working against the Foundation. SCP-xxxx-1's efforts have thus far included contact with American government officials seeking official sanction, contact with various Groups of Interest attempting to pursue cooperation, cyberattacks on Foundation sites and open conflict with MTF teams sent to contain SCP-xxxx or who run into instances of SCP-xxxx-1 operating in the field.
