SCP-XXXX in its current state
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a glass container filled with sulfuric acid to stop it from breaching containment. Sulfuric acid is the only known acid that is strong enough to keep SCP-XXXX in an immobile position. This container is to be raised exactly a meter away from sea level and is to be left in an immobile position where it wont be affected by any movements of wind or gravity. SCP-XXXX shall be isolated from large amounts of solid matter to prevent it from activating. The room where it is held shall be 4m x 12m to isolate it from the nearest source of solid matter. The walls shall have 2.7mm of acid proof substances on it. The entry leading to SCP-XXXX shall only be accessed from the top of the room - through the ceiling. A trapdoor is to be opened and a ladder composed of a thin light wood is to be dropped from the North side of the trapdoor. Only an 05 may give permission to access it or a team of level 5's for research. This is to make sure the object is in safe hands and will not be disused for other purposes then allowed. D-Class may be used as a test subject but any other classes above D-Class are too valuable to risk. SCP-XXXX's containment chamber is located in Site-█. Any unauthorized (or undocumented)access will be punished.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a spherical ball of what seems to be a shiny liquid ball which is dark enough to absorb large amounts of light. This has been weighed to vary depending on how heavy the object is that it is attached to. It has been known to reach weights of over 160,000
200,000 pounds. For more information of these tests visit Addendum-XXXX-A for the results of these tests. There are no visible anomalous appearances until it has touched a substance large enough (minimum is █g from █cm away from SCP-XXXX).
SCP-XXXX is activated by a large amount of solid matter coming into close contact to SCP-4808. Once this happens, SCP-XXXX is able to expand and duplicate itself many times as well as to increase its mass and shape depending on the dimensions of the subject it is interacted with. It immobilizes any object that it comes into contact with - and it has neutralized any anomalous properties the object has. There is no known reason for why SCP-XXXX can do this but it is treasured for its abilities and potential for being able to easily secure and contain dangerous SCP's. No unauthorized access (and undocumented access) is allowed to use SCP-XXXX for any use.
SCP-XXXX was found in a volcanic crater of █████ █████ Volcano on the island of █████. It was found when researchers were testing the magma flows of the active volcano nearer to the crater where most of the pyroclastic flows were flowing from. The team of █ found a sticky substance along the crater and when one researcher decided to touch it, it started 'growing' and enveloped her body (up to his abdomen) when he stopped moving. He explained this as painless and almost made her smile despite the horrific sight and the fact that she could not move. Her colleges described this as horrific and dangerous. Eventually this substance started falling apart from her and it removed all substance that wasn't respiring when the volcano started to erupt again in 1997. The heat caused SCP-XXXX to fall apart and deactivate. SCP-XXXX was then found in a cup of liquid by her feet which she was able to pick up and hand over to the foundation. Luckily, although there are no explainable means to how this happened, they escaped the volcano before it erupted, where the Foundation had been informed and had come to question and obtain the researchers and SCP-XXXX.
The researchers have been classed as Class-B to make sure that they don't tell anyone about this event and that they will be safe if any further questions are to be asked.
SCP-XXXX has become a really good insulator and can even repel over 100,00 volts easily, leaving no damage
