SCP-3902 in containment.
Item #: SCP-3902
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3902 is contained in a 5 meter by 5 meter by 5 meter container. SCP-3902 must be held above the floor by electromagnets and all the walls must be heated up to 500°C.
Description: SCP-3902 is a steel ball, approximately 1 meter in diameter. SCP-3902 has always a temperature of -273°C, unless kept in extreme heat. The low temperature seems to eminate from the center of the object. Any surface SCP-3902 touches will freeze. No known method currently exists to melt the frozen surface. If SCP-3902 is not heated, it will start to secrete a clear liquid, which is referred to as SCP-3902-1. The liquid has the same property to freeze anything, however any surface frozen by SCP-3902-1, will continue to spread the frost everywhere around it. The only way to stop this chain reaction is to expose all the effected material to temperatures of over 6000°C. This wont effect materials already frozen, and it will only stop the spreading.
