The following is an ongoing casefile regarding experimentation with an SCP, one which theoretically may hold answers.
Doctors Redacted and Redacted overseeing the behavioral analysis.
SCP 4358 is currently an unremarkable human male, measuring 194 pounds and standing 5'11" tall. Currently SCP 4358 has taken the likeness of an Australian male, age is of yet unknown though research into this current iteration appears to have shown that it has been in this form for approximately Redacted years.
Outwardly, 4358 shows no anomalous behavior or effects on anyone it comes into contact with. However, 4358 is also unaware of it's own status as an SCP.
All personnel assigned to monitor 4358 must at all cost avoid rousing its suspicions or piquing its curiosity. Any guards accompanying observational crew must be plain clothes, to avoid the attention of local authorities.
Initial discovery of SCP 4358 happened in the year Redacted when a man died of natural causes at the age of 85 years, presumably on the day of his birth. Upon pronouncing the man dead, a physician by the name of Redacted found the man's body shriveling inward into a gestational state.
Inexplicably the embryo of 4358 was reported to grow over the normal gestational period, despite not being fed nutrients or oxygen as a normal fetus would. The shell of 4358 retreated and shaped into its infant form, whereupon 4358 developed as an ordinary human child. Originally it was believed this was it's only anomalous behavior. However, observing scientists in Redacted in Site Redacted attempted an experiment whereupon they filmed the death and rebirth of 4358, a female of diminutive stature upon it’s death and later discovered to be a female again upon rebirth as its gender appears to change randomly between cycles.
4358 was shown the film of its own natural passing and genesis by the late researcher Redacted. 4358 was understandably in disbelief, then quiet and still for 1 minute and 27 seconds. The initial response of confusion and pain was subsided for rage. 4358, age approximately 9 years old at the time, was sent into a blood fury. The entire team assigned to the experiment was met with feral attacks by teeth, fingernails, hands, and bare feet. The only survivor of the incident claims the homicidal, labeled 4358-1 was killed by no less than three plain clothes guards and a researcher attempting to subdue 4358-1.
Samples of the corpse were taken before the body began gestation once more. Blood, hair, bone, and skin samples from the mess were examined by scientists in Site Redacted as well as Site Redacted but revealed no anomalous DNA or physiological evidence. 4358 was moved to secure containment in a 5x5 meter cell and observed, but had only fleeting memories of its past life which manifested as dreams and short stories from infancy to puberty before being lost. Though fragmented, it is quite possible that parapsychologists and historians would be able to piece together the entire history of 4358 given enough time before the data is lost to age.
Note: Pubescent and adult 4358 shows signs of hostility and confusion at being treated as a prisoner, and even under more favorable treatment yearns for freedom.
Thus far 4358 and 4358-1 have shown range of intelligence capable of humans, though 4358-1 is more akin to an instinctual hunter than a human being. Top Level Personnel at Site Redacted have released 4358 upon gestation to the infant stage under supervision of undercover personnel, who are rotated to maintain constant observation, but thus far no further incident has occurred.

4358 has befriended several civilians and was exposed to the leaked SCP information via the internet, however no trigger event for 4358-1 has occurred. 4358 shows continued interest in SCP and paranormal phenomena, but is unaware of its status. Should this change, its handlers must be alerted immediately.
