Special Containment Procedures: The spa and surrounding stores containing SCP-XXXX has been purchased by the Foundation and converted into Site-37. All roads leading to or passing by Site-37 have been redirected.
The entrance to SCP-XXXX is to be monitored at all times, and no one is to enter SCP-XXXX outside of testing, as permitted by a Class-A Researcher.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 3m x 3m hot tub located in a spa in ████████, NY. The water filling SCP-XXXX is, despite being liquid and appearing to the eye to be warm, measured to be about 10^-27 K. The temperature of the water remains constant at all times. The mechanisms by which this works are unknown. The air, as well as everything else around SCP-XXXX are not affected by the extreme temperature. When any object enters SCP-XXXX, cooling is almost instant. The object will be cooled to the same temperature as the water. A layer of ice will quickly form over the object, along with any other liquids in the object. Any solids will turn brittle. Any objects affected by SCP-XXXX take on the anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX, and are to be deemed SCP-XXXX-N, and are to be destroyed instantly. The tiles around SCP-XXXX appear to be indestructible.

Testing Date: November 1st, ████

Description: An ordinary deck of cards was dropped into SCP-XXXX. The deck was covered in indestructible ice, unable to be warmed. Upon lifting up the deck, the tongs used froze instantly, taking on the same properties as the cards. The cards were eventually destroyed with [REDACTED]

Description: SCP-████ was dropped into SCP-XXXX for 60 seconds. Upon recovery, SCP-████ had stopped functioning completely. SCP-████ was unable to be warmed, and the table it was placed on also froze completely.

Description: A Class-D personnel was instructed to go into SCP-XXXX. The subject died after 30 seconds. Their body was pulled out after 128 seconds. Autopsy shows all internal fluids has frozen solid, with the skin covered in ice.

scratch test with diamond, jackhammer, and a █.██ gW powered laser. The tiles resisted all damage.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a specially made vice created to stop all button inputs. The vice setup is to be held in a 5m x 5m Standard Containment Cell in Sector 6 of Site-45. No one is allowed into the cell of SCP-XXXX at any time as of December 30th ████.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a black ████ ███ electronic video-gaming console controller. When SCP-XXXX is operated through any means, the nearest living agent will be "controlled" using it. the controls vary from person-to-person and time-to-time. Despite this, some controls have seen more prominence in tests. Such controls include:
- Left stick to move
- Right stick to turn head
- Each trigger corresponding to hands on a human being
- [DATA EXPUNGED]
SCP-XXXX has an effective range of 305 meters. SCP-XXXX effects cannot work on inanimate objects, but SCP-XXXX can be operated, intentionally or not, by anything. If no living agents are within SCP-XXXX's effective range, but someone or something is attempting to use SCP-XXXX, then SCP-XXXX will control the same person holding or operating SCP-XXXX (even if said object operating it is not alive). If no agents are within the effective range of SCP-XXXX, then the effective range will slowly increase until one is found. Once a living agent is found, SCP-XXXX will attain some level of consciousness, and lead said agent to itself (though, the target will seem uncoordinated).

Testing Location: Site-45
Procedure: Two Class-D personnel entered the containment room of SCP-XXXX. One of them (D-3475) was instructed to pick up SCP-XXXX and use it (the other one being D-8424).
Results: D-8424 walked into several walls and flailed around until falling over. D-3475 seemed joyed by the power he held. Shortly thereafter both subjects were asked to leave the chamber, turn off the controller, and re-mount the controller in the containment vice.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard containment locker on Site-19, Sector 9. Testing is only permitted by Class-A researchers.
Recovery: SCP-XXXX was recovered from an assassin of unknown identity who was hired by a wealthy individual from the MC&D Agency. SCP-XXXX had been used to kill the CEO of █████-bottom Industries and the President of [REDACTED] INC. The assassin was terminated, and all involved were administered Class-A Amnestics.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a █████ brand pistol, with normal weight/mass, density, and size of a typical handgun. SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties arise whenever fired at a subject. No bullets will exit the barrel, even if an appropriate magazine is loaded. Instead, the target dies of a seemingly unrelated cause anywhere from instantly, to █ days later. SCP-XXXX only works on humans. SCP-XXXX has caused death by the following:
- Heart Attack
- Stroke
- Pulmonary Embolism
- Asphyxiation
- Strangulation
- Neck Trauma
- yersina pestis infection
- SCP-███ infection
- Memetic effects, leading one to suicide

Date: June 6th, ████
Description: Two Class-D personnel (D-6628 and D-3345) were asked to enter a testing chamber. D-6628 was instructed to pick up SCP-XXXX, turn off the safety, and "fire" at D-3345.
Results: D-3345 collapsed after 2.5 seconds after SCP-XXXX was "fired". Autopsy showed that D-3345 died of a sudden heart attack. Class-C amnestics were administered to D-6628 to alleviate the mental distress that followed.

Description: SCP-XXXX was "fired" at SCP-682 by a Class D-personnel (D-3069)
Results: SCP-682 visibly struggled to breathe for 2.6 minutes. SCP-682 survived the experiment, and killed D-3069.

Results: SCP-XXXX had no effect on the animal, despite repeated shots.

Description: A D-Class personnel (D-368) was instructed to fire SCP-XXXX at themselves.
Results: D-368 survived the experiment, only to later be diagnosed with an infection of SCP-███. D-368 was placed under watch by Dr.█████, and the development of the illness was observed for a period of 3 years. D-368 developed normal symptoms of SCP-███. It is unknown how SCP-XXXX can spread infections of any kind.
