Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-5530 is to be contained in a sealed room that is placed in the center on a pedestalwith a distance of 10 meters from the entrance and surrounding walls. If the Object is placed any where near a wall SCP could be at risk of breaking out from a random,prisonner walking by its containment chamber since it communicates telepathically. SCP-5530 is to be visited monthly from specific prisonners so object does not disappear.
Description:SCP-5530 is an artifact that is light.Depicted as a blue and golden colored scarf with a length of 6.5 feet with symbols such as a horse shoe,cross, and some trees. When worn around the neck the object is controllable but only for a short time until the subject gets dizzy or their head begins to hurt. Object mostly reacts to dominated left or right hand movement. At times users with hightenned creativity can make the scarf transform the tip of the scarf into different shapes. This is limited only to the users imagination.
Its to be noted that the scarf sometimes likes to take shapes on its own mostly of a hand knife or sword when a user isn't thinking of using it on anything. SCP staff suspected the reasoning behind this might of been from what the old man said and was used for limited mobility. When transformed in a hand, it can fully mimic the human hand perfectly but its only done by the mind. Based on how powerful ones mind is, the hand can be a powerful tool. Subjects that have high IQ can destroy objects such as certain metals and materials, can cause earthquakes that are 10 meters away from the user via slamming the transformed hand on the ground.

The scarf was first discovered of the shores of ███ █████████. SCP staff first discovered the SCP on a old man using the artifact to skip rocks from the shore. The man and scarf were called for an interview.

Interviewer: ███████ ████████
Foreword: Old man describing scarf and disappearing after coming back from a 5 minute break.
March 10th 20XX 11:30 AM
Interviewer: So where did you first discover this scarf ?
Old man: Same place from where I was using it. I just happen to stumble upon it. At first i didn't think much about it but brought it back and discovered by myself that the thing was able to move by hand or mind reading.
Interviewer:What can you tell me about this object?
old man:The scarf was used in ancient times after the age of the dinosaurs when humans and animals were equal and able to communicate in the same language. The animals were really called animans since most of them could talk.
Interviewer: What happened to them ?
Old man:After some time, the humans would,well slaughter them all but there are still some that can talk but most are in hiding even to this day.
Interviewer:How do you know all this information?
old man:The scarf communicates about its past users and about what it can or cannot do and what it fears.
Interviewer:So who was the past user ?
Old man: A talking horse named Kype who was originally a man.
Interviewer: What else can the scarf do other than throw rocks ?
Old man:Well the scarf originally was only usable from animans and was a weapon of destruction and creation. It sometimes has a mind of its own since it misses its past owner. The scarf was used as a hand most of the time since horses didn't have hands.
Interviewer: How so ?
Old man:I'm not sure, the scarf doesnt tell me how to control itself and what it can or cannot do. It simply tells me what it is and what its done in the past.End Log, March 10th 20XX 12:00 PM
Closing Statement:The old man was then detained and kept for further questionning with SCP-5530 taken from him. He said that it was only usable by horse creatures but after time the scarf slowly started being able to be used by humans since the race called Animans was whiped out.He also said the scarf stops you from aging but doesnt make you immortal. After a short break when the interview was going to continue, the old man disappeared. After asking around the area from where they originally saw the old man, no one knew where or if there was an old man living near the shoreline. SCP staff are still on the lookout for the old man or talking equines.
The object is to be used in emergency situations to help contain SCP breaches and prisonners that are trying to flee the facility.
Addendum: The Scarf appears to be made out of cotton but is not flammable or when destroyed, the scarf remakes itself from the particles and puts itself on the pedestal. Its been noted as well that if anything gets in the way of the travelling particles it can destroy anything in its path. If you try cutting through the scarf it is impossible.
