Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard humanoid containment cell at Site-757. At least 2 Level-2 Security officers are to be stationed outside of its cell at all times. Any materials and/or tools requested by the SCP must be approved by Dr. Murray

Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is a Regular Icosahedron with a volume of approximately 272.11 cubic centimeters and exhibits density and aesthetic properties of an opaque silicon dioxide crystal (Smoky Quartz). Despite the execution of several stress tests¹ done on the object, no remarkable or permanent damage to SCP-XXXX-1 has been achieved and no significant sample has been recovered for chemical composition research. The object has exhibited the ability to power any appliance that uses 1000 watts or less of electrical power by making contact with the point of power input (Ex: Electircal plug) and is capable of interacting with ferromagnetic materials within a 10 cm radius of itself in a similar manner to an electromagnet. When SCP-XXXX-1 is connected to a speaker in a way that allows it to electrically power it, communication with SCP-XXXX can be achieved.

SCP-XXXX is a sentient entity who has been identified as M██████ R███ Mason, a 19-year Caucasian male engineering student who went missing on 10/██/2011 from his home in ███████, Virginia. Interviews following containment revealed that it was out at sea on the day of its disappearance when a storm materialized from nowhere, causing the ship to wreck on the coast of a undiscovered continent referred to by the entity as "Verlorinsel". When questioned about the circumstances surrounding SCP-XXXX, the entity explained that its human form was destroyed in a battle between it and ██████, in which SCP-XXXX was successful. As gratitude for its heroic efforts, the entity's energy was intergrated into SCP-XXXX-1, allowing for SCP-XXXX to live on without the need of an organic body.

SCP-XXXX-2 collectively refers to any robotic apparatus created by the SCP to allow ease of interaction with its surrondings, normally manifesting in the form of a robotic exoskeleton.

SCP-XXXX came to the foundation's attention when agents implanted in local law enforcement reported the appearance of "A crystal powered robot" outside a forest ranger station in ██████████, Ohio on 6/16/2018. Personnel were dispatch and, under the cover story that SCP-XXXX was an experiment by a local electronics company that had gone missing, the SCP was recovered without incident and minor amnestics were applied to the local populace.

Interviewer: Dr. Murray

Foreword: Shortly after containment, SCP-XXXX, through use of gesturing, requested for a pad and pencil, which it was granted. Once given the materials, the SCP wrote a letter stating that it was able to communicate verbally, but needed a replacement speaker in order to do so. This request was approved by Dr. Murray, taking the SCP into an interview once the new speaker was installed.

Dr. Murray: Is the speaker functioning properly, SCP-XXXX

SCP-XXXX: I believe so, Doctor. Can you hear me?

Dr. Murray: Loud and clear. Now, please state your name.

SCP-XXXX: Okay. My name is M██████ R███ Mason. You're Dr. Murray, correct?

Dr. Murray: That is correct, SCP-XXXX. I will be asking you some questions concerning your existence. If there are any questions you would like to ask, please do so now.

SCP-XXXX: Well, I have a few. For starters, SCP-XXXX?

Dr. Murray: You have been place under the authority of the SCP Foundation due to possible anomalous effects that could pose as a threat to humanity. As of now, you shall be referred to by your identification number, SCP-XXXX, and contained here on-site.

SCP-XXXX: Anomalous?

SCP-XXXX pauses for a moment

SCP-XXXX: Where exactly am I?

Dr. Murray: I cannot reveal you current location due to security reasons. However, I can tell you that the location you were picked up from ██████████, Ohio.

SCP-XXXX: Ohio? How did I… Never mind, it's not important right now. You have some questions for me, yes?

Dr. Murray: Yes. What were you doing in the forest prior to containment.

SCP-XXXX: I was looking for the rest of my group. We were being chased by enemy forces when I broke from the others to lure our pursuers off the path.

Dr. Murray: Others?

SCP-XXXX: Yes. I was utilizing a larger construct than what you see now, but I sustained severe damage in the insuring conflict, so I put this together from the scraps and set out to rejoin the group. That's when I was confronted by your men, and now I'm here.

Dr. Murray: That should be enough for now. Thank you, SCP-XXXX. We will let you know if any more information is needed.

Closing Statement: Testing began on SCP-XXXX 3 hours following this interview. Surveillance of the area where the SCP was recovered has been sanctioned by Dr. Murray
