Special Containment Procedures: A maritime exclusion zone of 28 kilometers it to be established around SCP-XXXX which both civilian and military vessels must be prevented from entering. All aircraft flying below 6000 meters must be redirected around SCP-XXXX.

Status of SCP-XXXX is to be monitored constantly by automated radio detection equipment and manually checked by unmanned drone on a bi-weekly basis by foundation personnel. Upon visual confirmation that SCP-XXXX has moved the foundation is to immediately begin investigation of all disappearances of maritime vessels until SCP-XXXX is rediscovered. Upon rediscovery of SCP-XXXX the aforementioned exclusion zone is to be restored and foundation staff rebased near the location of SCP-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomalous zone with an area of effect roughly measured at around 5 kilometers in diameter. All maritime vessels that fall within this anomalous zone will not be able to leave due to the anomalous effect SCP-XXXX has on its environment. Residing at around roughly the center of SCP-XXXX and its anomalous zone are a series of constructions consisting mostly of what appears to be rusted metal and concrete. These constructions are held above the water by a series of concrete pillars which support the metal box like rooms. The interiors of these constructions remain largely unexplored however the few explorations of these constructions reveal their rooms to be mostly empty, containing nothing except equipment left in them by the crew of vessels that have fallen within SCP-XXXX that date back to at least the early 20th century.
