SCP-XXXX Upon it's Initial Retrieval
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: All instances of SCP-XXXX are to be contained in a hollow, cylindrical container composed of an aluminum-titanium alloy with a thickness of .15 meters and a diameter measuring 1 meter in the center of a standard containment chamber. This cylindrical container is to house a cylinder composed of Yttrium-Barium Copper oxide that will contain all instances of SCP-XXXX within the outlying mechanism. This inner cylinder is to act as a superconductor when combined with an electromagnet underneath the cylinder. A steady supply of 150 Volts is to be supplied to the electromagnet, and gaseous Helium at a temperature of 10 Kelvin (-263.15 Celsius) is to be applied in a constant stream to the superconductor in order to keep it below the critical temperature. Bi-weekly this mechanism is to be checked for any degradation or metal transmutation of the superconductor caused by SCP-XXXX that could inhibit its functionality.
In the event of a power failure at Site-██, two site personnel with level 3 clearance or higher are to remain inside SCP-XXXX's containment chamber until power is restored. If the power failure is caused by a violent SCP outbreak, then 4 armed personnel must stand guard along with the important persons until the power is restored. Once electricity is restored the cylindrical superconductor is to be removed from the holding device and replaced. No personnel must make direct eye contact with SCP-XXXX instances throughout this process.
As of █/█/██ the foundation has been made aware that there are more instances of SCP-XXXX that have not been contained. As such, a separate wing of containment is focused on tracking down and retrieving missing instances of SCP-XXXX. Mobile Task Force Iota-18 codename "Headbangers" is tasked with patrolling areas of southern Hungary, especially around the urban centers of ██████, ████████, █████████, and ████ for stray instances of SCP-XXXX. MTF Iota-18 is also responsible for shutting down any congregations of The Cult of Mët Sztrájk. Once apprehended by the foundation, members are to be provided with class F amnestics and taken in as D-class personnel. Unless given permission for testing or otherwise by Dr. █████ and O5-█, personnel are not permitted to allow any former members of the cult onto site-██.

Audio log from Interview I-XXXX-ML-1:
Interviewed: Former Captain ████ ███████
Interviewer: Dr. Audrey █████
Foreword: The following interview was conducted ██ days after Incident I-XXXX -ML, where Former Captain ████ ███████ of Mobile Task Force Iota-18, codename "Headbangers," orchestrated a power outage and subsequent SCP incident on site-██ through still unknown means. She was found trying to get inside the holding chamber of SCP-XXXX where she was apprehended, sedated, and relocated to a facility of a considerable distance from site- ██. This interview was conducted at the new site, and it details the exchanges between Dr. Audrey █████ and the former captain about the incident, the initial retrieval of SCP-XXXX, and ████'s relationship with the entity.

Dr. Audrey █████: Could you please idenfiy yourself for the record?
████ ███████: Former MTF Captain ████ ███████, nice to see you again, Audrey.
Dr. Audrey █████: I…beg your pardon miss ███████?
████ ███████: Oh, my sincerest apologies dear, we haven't been acquainted yet.
Dr. Audrey █████: But I just… [Dr. █████ stares blankly for this duration] Nevermind that, I'm here at the foundation's behest to ask you some questions about recent events.
████ ███████: Ah yes, where to start then?
Dr. Audrey █████: Could you please describe your perspective on the retrieval of the SCP-4735 instances?
████ ███████: Certainly. Well, the foundation first got a hold of me once their military recruitment scheme near █████ started, they got a hold of me once they realized I already had one of the caps in my possession.
Dr. Audrey █████: Really? Our records show that the MTF recruitment plan was because of the i- [████ cuts Dr. █████ off]
████ ███████: Incident with SCP-████ yes [████ chuckles to herself] Yeah they were really desperate for men after that, good Hungarian-speaking boys too. Your report is half-true Audrey, those parameters were true for everyone else on the squad.
Dr. Audrey █████: So you were an exception to that ruling?
████ ███████: Well yeah, but not in any official sense. Now, where was I? Oh yes the retrieval, well they carted us down to █████████ where they knew the cult would be staging some elaborate curtain show for their dark god and they sent us in to put a stop to it.
Dr. Audrey █████: And what was your role in the mission?
████ ███████: I lead the Hungarian platoon of Headbangers, they had Capt. █████ in charge of the American operators. They would storm the warehouse on foot over the northern fence, and I commanded my troop to drop on the roof from the air support. I was told to stay in the helicopter to issue reconnaissance.
Dr. Audrey █████: Could you describe your account of the initial assault?
████ ███████: Yes. The charges were set off on North-F, the American operators went in and cleared out the bottom section of the warehouse of hostiles, some of them anyhoo.
Dr. Audrey █████: Some of them?
████ ███████: Yeah on the comms I heard one of the Americans screaming that his cohort had been cupped by one of them. Had his forearm completely plastered gold with it tied around his throat. The cultist shot a good 3 volleys at him but they just shot right back off his arm. [████ pauses for the duration] That's about when the real fighting broke out.
Dr. Audrey █████: What did you see?
████ ███████: The usual stuff, it wasn't that much of a spectacle. The cultists were able to get some drops on my platoon in the upper corridors but they still managed clear the majority of them out. Once the charges from downstairs went off, the rest began to clear right out, and they left their "talismans" behind.
Dr. Audrey █████: [Dr. █████ Scrolls through her Report] And that was right before you were apprehended by Foundation Personnel? And that you were…completely cooperative with no sign of a struggle?
████ ███████: Mmm-hmm. I gave them the cap and they gave me a cozy little concrete block underground.
Dr. Audrey █████: Well miss ███████, our records on SCP-XXXX make that out to be…improbable at best. All other instances of human interactions with the entity- [████ cuts Dr. █████ off]
████ ███████: End with the poor bastard becoming obsessed with the thing, I know. It wasn't hard to give it up because I already knew I was gonna have to, even before the foundation hired me.
Dr. Audrey █████: How…what do you mean by that?
████ ███████: Let me put it this way doctor: this isn't the first time we've had this exact conversation

Audio log from Interview I-XXXX-ML-2:
Interviewed: Former Captain ████ ███████
Interviewer: Dr. Audrey █████
Foreword: [Dr. █████] What transpires in the following log was, alarming, to say the least. The more conversation I have with miss ███████ the more I feel we completely misunderstood the nature of XXXX. If I could make a request to the board, council, whoever is going to read this: I strongly suggest that miss ███████ be classified as an SCP in her own right.
<Begin Log>
Dr. Audrey █████: Hello again miss ███████, I believe we have much more to discuss then I initially expected.
████ ███████: Yes, of course, Audrey. I hope you're prepared to hear it.
Dr. Audrey █████: I think I'll be fine, thank you. [Dr. █████ Shifts Paper on Her Side of the Desk] I'll start this off with a simple inquiry: do you have a special connection with SCP-XXXX?
████ ███████: Yes I do. And I don't call it that.
Dr. Audrey █████: I know miss ███████, you call them caps, I've read the transcripts, now let us get back to the- [████ cuts Dr. █████ off]
████ ███████: That's not what I meant Doctor, caps are what they are physically, but that's not what they are in my mind.
Dr. Audrey █████: Well then what do you call them miss ███████?
████ ███████: They're cogs Doctor, all pieces of a grand mechanism.
Dr. Audrey █████: I…see, could you describe that mechanism?
████ ███████: Now, now Doctor, you were just about to ask me about the "special powers" the caps grant me, we can't keep jumping the horse like this.
Dr. Audrey █████: [Dr. █████ Doesn't Speak for this Duration] Ahem, yes miss ███████, is it the caps themselves that give you precognition?
████ ███████: Precognition?
Dr. Audrey █████: The ability to see events that are to come?
████ ███████: Yes I know what it is Doctor, it's just, it still amazes me every time that that's the same conclusion you always seem to come to. I cannot see the future at all, but I have seen it happen enough times to be sure of it.
Dr. Audrey █████: That's insanity miss ███████.
████ ███████: Not at all Doctor, it's your idea of what time is that's insane. You seem to think it's so much more linear than it really is, I don't share this limited perception.
Dr. Audrey █████: Would you be willing to share your, higher knowledge, with the foundation?
████ ███████: Well, time has a life cycle like all other forms of life. It spawns, it grows, it dies. It can't grow forever, it has to pass, and be reborn again.
Dr. Audrey █████: How could you possibly know that?
████ ███████: You know how some people live on borrowed time? I've lived on multiple borrowed times, in their entirety.
Dr. Audrey █████: Immortality? Siphoning of timelines? Miss ███████ that is preposterous. The foundation has dealt with its fair share of prognosticators, this act you're pulling is just wasting time. Now let's get to Inci- [████ cuts Dr. █████ off].
████ ███████: You want more proof Doctor? It should be coming in 12 seconds from now.
Dr. Audrey █████: What are you- [Knock on Door of Interview Room.] {Dr. █████ spends this duration conversing with the on-site security about the package she's received before she returns to the interview table holding a box of Chocolate Meteors™️}
Dr. Audrey █████: Miss ███████. What the Hell is this?
████ ███████: Your favorite cereal, ever since you were in foster care. But you always said it was the prize inside that was the best part. [████ Nods to the Box] [Sound of Falling Grains and then Silence]
Dr. Audrey █████: These…these are my mother's earrings.
████ ███████: Yes. She sold them to me ██ years ago to pay for your schooling. Her foundation credentials were enough to get them inside this place. [Sound of Box and Grains Smacking the Wall]
Dr. Audrey █████: Why!? What do you have to gain from any of this? What does any of this have to do with XXXX?
████ ███████: You wanted proof, I gave it to you. You want answers and I've got some more to give. [Dr. █████ Remains Silent] I don't travel arbitrarily, I don't live off time just to meddle. I help it die just like everything else has to die.
Dr. Audrey █████: How do you manage that?
████ ███████: Remember that Chocolate Meteors™️ ad campaign Doctor? Gather all 5 chocolate stars to form a sundaenova.
Dr. Audrey █████: You mean…the caps?
████ ███████: Indeed, they are the cogs that move time forward. They speak to others, but they only speak the truth to me. They are always drawn toward one another, so they can fulfill their purpose.
Dr. Audrey █████: What would that be miss ███████?
████ ███████: Rejuvenation.

SCP-XXXX Upon its Fifth Known Apparition
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Due to its anomalous properties, complete containment of SCP-XXXX has proven to be impossible. Containment procedures should, therefore, be solely focused on the monitoring, tracking, and concealment of the entity. Outpost A-XXXX-1, codename "Snow Meiser," is stationed northwest of the Frigg Fjord near Ellesmere Island in Canada. The site is to be manned by armed personnel during the summer on years where SCP-XXXX apparitions don't occur and continually in years where the entity is scheduled to pass through Earth. The outpost is manned to prevent any civilians from wandering into areas affected by SCP-XXXX and acts under the pretenses of an archeological expedition.
Personnel on Site-██ located in █████████ Canada in the northern Nunavut province are tasked with the tracking of the entity. This includes its path, current location, and scheduled arrivals. Any and all changes in these patterns are to be directly notified to Dr. ██████ and O5-██. Many environmental explanations can and have been used as proxies to conceal the effects of SCP-XXXX. These include but are not limited to: Auroras, tremors, iceberg collapses, seismic activity, greenhouse gas emissions, light refraction, and other comets. Whether or not these effects are directly attributable to SCP-XXXX should not be considered in the process of concealment.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomalous celestial body that orbits through the solar system with a gravitational orbit centered around the planet Earth. The path of SCP-XXXX's orbit goes directly through the magnetic poles of Earth, entering through the northern magnetic pole and exiting the southern before continuing on its regular orbital pattern, which seems to ignore the gravitational pull of the Sun and other massive celestial bodies in the solar system. SCP-XXXX orbits at a speed faster than any comet in the known universe, a speed of 350 Kilometers per Second, and it has an orbital period of 15 years as recorded by Site Officials since its first sighting in 1917.
Visually, SCP-XXXX shares characteristics similar to other comets, specifically Halley's Comet, which it was originally confused for. However, The entity has many physical and auditory properties, some of which make tracking and recording difficult. SCP-XXXX moves in its orbital pattern with its tail pointing toward the object that it orbits, implying that the tail of the entity is a solid mass rather than a gaseous vapor formed by debris similar to other comets. In all color footage of SCP-XXXX, it appears to emanate a purple hue that seems to spawn from the entity itself rather than the reflection of sunlight. All footage of the entity also appears to be distorted with visual effects similar to Anaglyph 3D effects, whether or not this also occurs when viewed from the naked eye is unknown, and the entity only appears visible to the naked eye at a latitude of at least 89.75 degrees north.
SCP-XXXX-1 events, or "apparitions" will occur when the entity is approximately 500,000 kilometers from the final vector of its orbit, in this case, the northern magnetic pole of Earth. The entity will then become visible to low-powered astronomical viewing equipment and the naked eye. Once twenty-three minutes have passed, the entity will enter an SCP-XXXX-2 event, or "impacts." These occur when the entity makes an impact with the surface of the earth, the location of which changes with the point of magnetic north. In these impacts, the entity reaches the surface and then passes through the Earth's outer crust where it is presumed that the entity spends nearly two minutes traveling the radius of the Earth and exiting to its regular orbit at the magnetic south. When SCP-XXXX does make a collision with the Earth's surface, a variety of anomalous effects will occur; a major disturbance in the Earth's magnetic field will occur similar to a localized geomagnetic storm and subsequently disable any electronic equipment within a 500-meter radius of the impact zone.
Shortly following this impulse, an area in a vector north of the impact zone will become magnetized, gathering up nearby snow, rock, water, and miscellaneous debris into a floating spire measured to be around 30 meters tall, and will be designated new magnetic north, or SCP-XXXX-M. Photography and other types of digital recording of SCP-XXXX-M have been found to be impossible due to the electrical impulses that it generates. Additionally, SCP-XXXX-M appears to create its own heat, speculated to be near 800 kelvin, which melts the surrounding ice and vaporizes the water, creating clouds of steam that envelop the entity. The steam appears to change hue randomly, switching from a deep purple color to bright white in color. Direct viewing of SCP-XXXX-M is highly discouraged, as subjects have described becoming impaired with visual effects similar to TV static. Continued exposure to this effect has been known to cause blindness and visual hallucinations, whether or not the retina are protected with special equipment like glasses or visors.
