Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5380 is to be stored in a standard containment chamber in a locked metal wardrobe. Testing should be conducted only by Class-D personnel, under supervision of any personnel with Level 3 or higher clearance level. Under no circumstances should SCP-5380 be used by personnel other than Class-Ds. After every testing, SCP-5380 should be washed in a washing machine at 20 degrees Celsius temperature, to clean it of any blood or other stains. SCP-5380 should not be photographed, as it will change color and other details completely afterwards. However, a surveillance camera should be installed in the containment chamber to prevent any unauthorized access or interaction with the object. In case of SCP-5380 getting damaged, it is to be left in the same locked metal wardrobe, with all of its parts intact.
Description: SCP-5380 is, at the moment, a red cotton t-shirt, European size L, with black spots all over it. According to the labels on the inner part of the t-shirt, it was manufactured in Bangladesh. It was discovered by the police after they found a dead man wearing it in his apartment at the adress ████████ █████ number ██ in Bucharest, Romania. A single photograph of the t-shirt retrieved by the police show that it was in fact white with a Jamaican flag on it during its original state. Autopsy shows the man died from heavy internal bleeding.
Upon putting SCP-5380 on, the subject does not report any significant changes for approximately two to five minutes, except for a tingling sensation during that period of time, which has been observed in 90% of cases. After the given time, SCP-5380 starts [DATA EXPUNGED], causing intense pain to the subject, and causing them to lose all skin tissue underneath SCP-5380. It can not be taken off afterwards, as it becomes a part of the subject, serving the same purpose. SCP-5380 can not be taken off normally until the subject loses all vital signs. This is due to the fact that the subject's body has accepted it as its own skin tissue.
Only known method of taking SCP-5380 off while the subject is wearing it is through surgery, cutting it or ripping it apart. This is allowed due to the fact that SCP-5380 regenerates any damage made to it over time, as long as all of its parts remain intact. In very rare cases, SCP-5380 is known to also "eat" even further into the subject's tissue, eventually reaching vital organs such as the lungs or the heart, damaging them and causing internal bleeding.
Addendum 5380-01: Experiment Logs Refining SCP-5380 in SCP-914 on the 1:1 setting has the same effect as taking a photograph would have, changing its appearance. Output on other settings not yet observed, waiting for approval by the O5 staff.
