Special Containment Procedures : SCP-??? is stored in a standard Safe-class secure locker at Site-19. Experimentation with SCP-??? may only be performed on Class C personnel, and only with prior approval from at least two (2) Level 3 Senior Researchers.
Description : SCP-??? is a small bracelet composed of alternating white and lavender beads, with cracked and star purple beads in between, the bracelet about 11 cm in diameter in its inactive state. SCP-??? also has a lavender star as its pendant that may glow in the dark and at random times. When not worn, a faint scent of lavender emits from the bracelet itself no matter how many times it is washed. There is no clear distinction on where the scent comes from. Although it seems to be made of plastic and nylon, it is indestructible and no acid can melt nor scratch its surface.
When placed on the wrist or ankle of a living human subject, SCP-??? contracts to fit tightly but comfortably over the extremity. SCP-??? can be safely removed from the test subjects but has been known to cause repercussions or after effects on the test subjects, depending on the duration and intensity of its use.
SCP-??? is known to have an invisibility effects around the wearer. As described by witnesses, SCP-??? will emit a strong scent of Lavender before making its test subject/wearer disappear from the naked eye. Reports state that once the scent has been registered into the witnesses, they are unable to see, hear nor pinpoint where the test subject was initially. Camera recordings has been retrieved from the experimentation and has been reviewed.
Addendum ???-001 : The SCP item has been recovered in the city of [REDACTED], Panama. It has been retrieved from a woman who had relayed the invisibility anomaly to an undercover SCP worker who was at the time posing as a fellow colleague. The woman and her mother had been released after being interviewed and also been administered to Class C amnestics.
Addendum???-002 : It has been registered that any electronics WITHIN the proximity average of at least 5 meters from SCP-??? shuts down due to a snall shockwave from the bracelet itself. It releases the shockwave at a 3 minute interval even when not worn by any test subject. The shockwaves doesn't affect any electronics on the wearer itself (phone, body camera, audio recording device, etc.) nor any electronic being observed by the wearer which gives a possible self-study observation from SCP-???.
Addendum-???-003 : SCP-??? cannot effect any human wearing a full HAZMAT body suit and gear. This concludes that the lavender scent eminating from the bracelet has an effect similar to pheromones.
Addendum-???-004 : A request has been placed for the item to be transferred to a safer containment field has been placed after an attempt of a Class D-personnel to escape the facility with the use of SCP-???. As to how the personnel knew of the SCP-???'s original location and it's anomalous effects is unknown as he was uncooperative upon retrieval. SCP-??? has been transferred to Foundation Site- 19 in [REDACTED] under complete 360° surveillance.
