SCP-4138, “Giga”
Object Class: Safe

SCP-4138 is on the surface an ordinary woman. When SCP-4138 called the DAIC claiming that she had anomalous properties, she was at first thought to be lying, since as of that point no anomalous object had willingly turned themselves in.

Upon further conversation, SCP-4138 explained she had discovered she could convert herself into electrical signals upon contact with metallic objects. She gave the address ██ █████ ██████ in

████████, ███████. Retrieval Team B5 arrived at this address, and SCP-4138’s claims were found to be truthful. SCP-4138’s ability effectively allows her to travel through security camera footage, phone calls, even walkie talkie transmissions.

SCP-4138 also can enter and exit electronic games at will and tends to socialize with fictional characters, which show signs of sentience while interacting with SCP-4138, regardless of whether or not the character was sentient prior to contact. These effects are only present during the time SCP-4138 is inside of the program and are nullified after SCP-4138 leaves.

While police records have confirmed SCP-4138’s given name to be ██████ ████, SCP-4138 has expressed a preference to simply be called “Giga” and expresses displeasure with her original name.

SCP-4138, while friendly towards personnel and displaying no hostile tendencies, frequently tries to escape her containment chamber, when escaped SCP-4138 normally walks around with the intent to learn about the other SCPs in containment at the SCP-Foundation.

Since SCP-4138 acts like a normal person apart from her ability, several staff have offered to let SCP-4138 leave the facility, as long as SCP-4138 returns during weekdays and keeps the facilities location secret. SCP-4138 has refused the offer, claiming that she enjoys her time in the facility, and that she feels uncomfortable being treated “as if she was normal.”
